  Omega's living room

Earlier:   "Wait, before we go off to eat dinner, I have decided to reveal myself. He might know who am I, since I came from Earth." One hooded person said. I think her name was Bowyer. All of them were easily recognized by the symbol on their hoods. Divine nodded. When she took off her hood, I drew in a sharp breath. It was not because her face was surprising or because I didn't know Chaos recruited teenagers. No, it was because standing in front of me, in the flesh, is Zöe Nightshade, alive and well.

Now

Percy's POV

"Do you know who I am? I lost my memory. In fact, I think that most of us lost our memories. All I know is that I am from Earth, and I am a demigod. So, who is my parent and who am I?" Zöe asked.

I got to get use to calling Zöe 'Bowyer'. Seeing no harm in telling her, I replied, "You are Zöe Nightshade, lieutenant of Artemis's hunters. Your father is Atlas. By the way, why will you guys lose your memory? I don't think it is permanent, right?"

Bowyer's face brightened as I told her who was she but frowned at the last sentence. I noticed the others did too. "Abbadon, the reason is unknown to us. But so far, the only one with his/her memory intact is you. All the others have lost theirs too. I tried asking some of them, which are from Earth. Even though their faces are familiar, I just simply couldn't grasp their names and their relationships to me. It is almost like something is making my mind blank when I look at them. I am sure that the others are the same as me." Bowyer explained. I looked around the room, as heads nodded in confirmation of her speech. I noticed a guy, who is shorter than the rest, and didn't nod his head. I did not recognize him at all. I don't think that he had introduced himself at all. Excusing the others, I went to sit beside him. He looked up, and recoiled in shock. I think he must be wondering how did I get next to him, when just now I had been talking to the others. After he calmed down, I asked him. "You are not from around here, are you?"

Don't ask me how I knew, but somehow, deep inside me, there is this voice telling me that I know him. True to that, the figure dropped his shoulders. I could almost imagine a wince forming. I could see he was debating whether he should tell me. Finally his shoulders sagged lower and he turned towards me, and flicked up his cowl, a weary and resigned look in his eyes. "I am Ethan Nakamura, spy of End. And I hope you can fix me... Abbadon."

I was surprised to hear that for a start, and numbly gestured to a table, where we both sat. "Now," He begun, "the story. You see, after the fight with Kronos, I was meant to be recuited into the Chaos Army. Unfortunately, End came and took me first. He convinced me that he was Chaos, which is pretty easy, since they are almost similar, and told me that his brother is rising and wanted me to spy on them. I agreed instantly, as I desperately wanted a second chance. Upon arrival, he told me he gave me some powers to help me with this mission. When I joined, Chaos recognized me and he assigned me to Omega. Apparently he believes that I am worthy of a second chance. I didn't think that it would affect me that much, but look at them; they have forgotten their memories. Even you must agree that I can't ignore it. Just that... I do not know how to help. Perhaps Chaos placed me here so that I could see others suffer..."

I could trust Ethan. Why not? After all, he tried to fight for a place for his mother only. That was not wrong. Although the situation does not explain itself. "Ethan, did Chaos say why their memories were gone?"

Ethan thought for a while, before nodding."Yeah, he did. It appears that when they die, they somehow or rather loses their old memories, before joining Chaos. Think it was some kind of deal of something." He frowned. Suddenly, he lunged forward and gripped my arm with an steel grip. "Please, Abbadon, you must find a way to save them! I barely could stand to see them like that, but for this day, you and me are the only one who has his memories intact. Actually, I remember Chaos trying to remove my memories of that conversation, but now you brought it up, I suddenly remembered!"

I wonder why? Hmm... lets see... unknown powers, sudden remembrance... there could only be one possibility. "Ethan, I suspect that you have the power over memories."

"What, me? What makes you think that I have the power over memories?" Ethan asked me, puzzled.

"You see, End gave you some powers to help you right? As a spy, it would be useful, as you can erase their memories of you, and just leave. So, I am thinking, you could use that power and to retrieve the lost memories and return it to them. When you said you remembered something that you was not suppose to know, it shows that it can be used for good. So what do you say, Ethan?" I explained to him, and slowly his eyes gained an gleam of understanding. He nodded. "Let's do this."

_______********_______

First we gathered the whole team together, and then asked them to be touching part of Ethan. When everyone was touching, Ethan looked at me, his eyes a bit frightened. I nodded in encouragement and he turned back, determined to finish what we started. He squeezed his eyes shut in concentration. Suddenly, there was a bright flash of light, and I was forced to shield my eyes.

Ethan's POV

I was not really assured that this was safe. I looked at Abbadon, who gave me a nod of encouragement. 'Let's do it now, otherwise I will change my mind' He thought. He closed his eyes, and thought of his powers. At first he felt nothing; but just as he was about to give up, like a broken dam, the powers came flowing through him. He suddenly could see all the memories of the whole world. He tuned them out, as it was going to drive him crazy. He gained clarity of all the people touching him, the names, the past, all that. He found what were their past, and at one go, released all the memories to the correct member. They all collapsed promptly. Abbadon was looking at me with a sense of awe. "How did you do that?" He asked. I was confused, what he mean?

"How what?" I asked, perplexed at Abbadon's question.

"How did you make that flash of light? When you close your eyes, a flash of light was emitted from your body. How did you make that?" Oh, so that was what he meant.

"I did not intentionally make that. It must because I had a brief contact with the memories of the world. Speaking of that I know your true identity, but I swear on the River Styx that I will not tell the others unless I am given permission by you, in this state. and another person in Omega that you trust." I swore, earning a grin from him.

"Anyway, are they okay? They seem pretty still for alive." Abbadon said dryly. As if to prove him wrong, one member groaned and rolled over. "Good job, man. just to let you know, I always believed you will do the right thing. I never doubt it once."

We turned to walk out , when we were stopped by Chaos halfway. Oh no, what now?
