Abbadon's thoughts POV

After countless years, every person I saw called me Abbadon, and slowly I forgot my past life, only barely remembering my name. Who was Percy Jackson?

Even though I seem to lose my memory, I have found and learned how to use my powers. Now even Chaos seems afraid of me. I guess it is because I am probably more powerful than him. I don't see the reason to worry though. I don't normally use my powers, and even if I did, I wouldn't misuse them.

It took only 5 years for me to gain my team's trust. They were wary about the fact that I hold so much power and yet act like an ordinary person. After a practically failed mission, I gained their trust.

Flashback:

"Abbadon! Fall back! There are too many of them!" screamed Bowyer, as she shot off more arrows to cover our retreat. I barely ducked as Reaper slashed through a shadow behind me. "Thanks, I owe you one," I breathed, shocked at the close but simple near death-experience. Reaper did not respond as he got his hands busy with shadows. We were on another planet, apparently unnamed as it was End's territory. We were suppose to just keep the shadows in check, but turns out that our aura is pretty noticeable by the shadows and they ambushed us. Now, we are retreating towards our ship.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Divine scream. I whipped around to see she was getting drowned in the sea of shadows. I immediately ran over there and jumped over two shadows, dispersing them as I did a backflip and kicked them. I used the momentum to carry me to Divine. I send 3 more shadows away before swiping my sword in a wide circle, keeping the shadows away while I stood guard over Divine. Over my head, Ashon jumped on top of a shadow and launched a special arrow at the crowd of shadows surrounding me. I covered my ears as a sonic boom dissipated all the shadows around me. I nodded thanks to him as I set her down not far from the battle to let her heal before launching myself upwards.

As I observe, three more shouts for help came. Bowyer was overran, the shadows swarming her as they took control of her body. Fletcher was down too, the shadows got to him. Die went out shortly; whenever he kill a shadow, two more takes its place. The team was down to Ashon, Hero, Wing, and me. Out of the corner of my eye I saw ten shadows enter Divine and she arched her back mouth sucking in the shadows before stilling. Then she rose like a person rising from the dead. Bowyer, Fletcher and Die stood along with Divine, their dark forms in all their glory.

"Avengerrrr....." Divine hissed and I panicked. She had charmspeak laced with her speech. "Join usss...." Avenger shook his head as he tried to get rid of the charmspeak. Bowyer and Divine flew down, supported by their shadows as they sucked in more and more, becoming darker, more evil, and more powerful. The other converted ones did the same.

I saw Avenger gulp as he saw them absorb the shadows. For some reason, I could not move. Turns out that the others had focused us, binding us to the ground while Bowyer and Divine entice Hero to join them. The other remaining shadows took this chance to enter all of us. Avenger accidentally sucked in a shadow and his eyes became glazed almost immediately. Divine saw this and smiled. By then they had reach the ground and Bowyer was holding him in place while Divine circled and flew like a shadow around him. "Why do you bother to even serve Chaos? Join ussss, and weeee could get you mooooore power than youuu could ever imagine..." Oh no, I saw Avenger smile dreamily and look up at Divine as she purred something into his ear. His smile turned into a smirk and I knew he fell for Divine's charmspeak.

As Avenger accepted Divine's offer, a few more shadows made their way to Avenger. He didn't resist this time as he sucked in all the shadows, still looking at Divine in a trance. She held out her hand to Avenger and he took it, rising up to join them. Ashon, Hero and Wing flew up at almost the same time, converted already. Now the two girls turned to me. Bowyer flew to my left while Divine flew to my right silently
