"When I saw you I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew."

- William Shakespeare

"It'll be my honor," Suhaana said as she stood up with little Raghav in her arms as he blushed. I admired how surreal she looked, and something inside me moved as I saw her with the little child. The way she pampered him, cooing sweet nothings in his ear as he eased himself more into her arms, the waves of bliss and excitement for sharing my life with her rushed through me.

Suhaana walked to the stage with Raghav still in her arms as I followed them. Vadina took a seat and watched her baby dance. The band played my favorite song as Raghav placed his head on her shoulder. I offered Suhaana to let me hold him, but she politely declined. The two swayed to the soft rhythm as Raghav would hoist his head occasionally, just to gaze at her, and then hide in her neck, when she'd smile. I stood close by them, realizing so much in those handfuls of moments.

We often think love is colossal when love is moments like these, where you stand in awe and admire the person standing in front of you. Raw and unedited. Raghav fell asleep in her arms as the song came to an end. Vadina walked up to us to take the baby from him, thanking her.

"He'd be so happy, I know he is going to talk about you for days," She said as the sleeping baby cooed in his mother's arms.

"And I know I am going to be talking about this little man for days," Suhaana said, gently patting Raghav's head.

Vadina left as the band played their next song.

"This one is for the couple on the dancefloor."

All the eyes shifted towards us as Ammber and Aisha cheered. A deep red hue rushed through her cheeks and I smiled. Our eyes met as the crowd applauded for us.

"This one is for our future Vadina!" Exclaimed Vikyath while the crowd cheered.

She momentarily rested her forehead on my shoulder concealing her blushed face as I placed my hand on her head, and the other on her waist.

You're too good to be true

Can't take my eyes off you

You'd be like, heaven to touch

I want to hold you so much

At long last, love has arrived

And I thank God, I am alive

You're so good to be true

Can't take my eyes off you

She met my eyes as the song played, while I reverently brushed my thumb over her cheek.

"Pardon the way, that I stare."

The singer chimed as she averted her eyes, causing me to break into a smile. She rested her head on my chest as I intertwined my fingers with hers, my fingertips resting on the bare skin of her waist.

I gently swept her into a little twirl to which the crowd hollered and she gleamed, shying away from my eyes as a newlywed bride. I thanked my Amma's blessings and the heavens above for I felt the luckiest man on earth.

"The sight of you leaves me weak."

She breathed in my chest as I rested my chin on her head. She looked up, tracing my lips with her eyes. I raised my eyebrows to which she buried her face in the groove of my neck. I could feel her lips on my neck, and jolts running down my spine, as she looked up again and smiled. The juxtaposition of our bodies made me nervous as her breath touched my lips, threatening my composure. I drew in a deep breath as her scent filled my mind, making it groove to a completely different tune. She parted her lips and gently licked them as my throat went dry. The proximity of our lips faltered my senses as the music seemed to dim in the background and all I could listen to was my racing heart. Just as we imbibed each other's breaths the sky roared and blared with thunders. The clouds tore apart, as its passionate showers reached the earth.
