The sun was rising up, illuminating the room through the window, making Rosé wake up, just to find out she wasn't in her bed. Memories from the previous night began to fill her mind, as she realized she was still naked inside Nicky's bed. But Nicky wasn't there.

A swear in French was heard from the kitchen. Rosé smiled to herself at the fact that the girl must be making breakfast. She stood from bed and went to Nicky's closet to grabb an oversized t-shirt. She put it on and made her way to the kitchen, where Nicky was dancing with her headphones on as she was cooking something. Rosé approached her quietly, Nicky didn't notice her presence, as Rosé wrapped her arms around Nicky's tiny waist from behind.

"Merde!" Nicky swore as she made a little jump. "You scared the shit out of me." She said with the most beautiful broken accent Rosé ever heard.

Rosé gently took off Nicky's headphones, still hugging her from behind. "Morning, beautiful." She gave her a little kiss in the cheek. "What are you making?"

"It's a surprise."

"You don't know what are you making, right?"

"No clue what I'm doing." Nicky said, as she took the frying pan off the heat and turned around to face Rosé. "Hey."

"Hey." Rosé replied with a smile, which was cut short by a sweet kiss of Nicky.

"How do you feel about having cereal for breakfast?" Nicky asked.

"What about the thing you were making?" Rosé looked over Nicky's shoulder, trying to analyze what the hell she was cooking.

"The pancakes didn't work out as I wanted to."

"Those are pancakes?" Rosé pointed at the thing inside the pan, while her other hand was still wrapped in the girl's waist.

Nicky pouted, "I tried, okay?"

"You're cute." Rosé said, as she run her finger down Nicky's nose.

"Stop doing that!"

"Doing what?"

"The nose thing! It's the second time you do that."

Rosé raised her finger back up to Nicky's nose, "I can do it for the third time." She teased.

"Who's gonna let you?"

"Who's gonna stop me?" Rosé replied, as she did it again, but Nicky grabbed her hand halfway as both of them were giggling and laughing.

Easy. That was the word to describe Nicky. Everything was easy with her. There were no second thoughts, not regrets, no rejections, not impossibilities. And that was exactly what Rosé needed.

And wanted.

"Nicky?" Rosé asked, as they were sitting on the couch eating the pancakes that she ended up making for them.

"Hmm?"

"Did you realize that we should be at school in five minutes?" Rosé said, leaving the plate on the coffee table and getting up, but Nicky grabbed her hand and make her sit again.

"Nope."

"Nicky, come on."

Nicky crawled on top of Rosé sitting on her lap. "Imma stay here."

"You're such a child."

"I'm not moving," Nicky crossed her arms, "your lap is comfy."

"I'm fully convinced you never graduated from kindergarten."

"What if..." Nicky began, "I make you stay?" She adjusted herself until she was straddling Rosé.

"I don't think you can have that power over me."
