Ep.17: memories

"Wh- what do you mean our home?" Taehyung asks, fear etching his beautiful features. 

To this, Jungkook chuckles as he presses his lips onto Taehyung's forehead. "This is where we'll live together. Forever. You'll take care of our kids and stay away from the rest of the world. While I work to provide for us and keep our family safe." He explains with the same eerie smile from before.

Taehyung's features didn't seem to have brighten up, in fact they darkened with fear even more and this disappointed Jungkook.

"Aren't you happy? Aren't you happy that we can finally be alone together and raise our own family. If anything, you should start seeing signs soon." Jungkook tells him.

Taehyung's head snaps up to look at Jungkook in the eyes. "What do you mean signs ?" Taehyung asks with a skeptical tone.

"Pregnancy signs." Jungkook beams, smiling widely.

To Taehyung, everything he ever thought he knew about Jungkook, had faded. Who was this person standing in front of him?

"I- I can't even get pregnant." Taehyung finally says after a long beat of silence. Jungkook breaks down into a fit of laughter. "I've checked your medical records, I've studied your body. You have a female internal genital that allows you to get pregnant." Jungkook explains as he settles for sitting criss-cross styled in front of Taehyung.

"When did you even get that? How did you even do that?" Taehyung was astonished. 

"About four years ago or so." Jungkook answers after he finished thinking about it.

"What do you mean four years? We only met this year. How long have you been planning this? Why are you doing this? Junghyun, what is all of this for?" Taehyung asks rapidly, he felt like crying. Was he ever going to see the outside world again? Was he going to see his family and friends again? He was only stuck here with Jungkook.

"No Taehyung, we've met before this. Long before this. As of how long I've been planning this, I've been planning this for five years. I'm doing this for us. This is all for you to love me and for me to love you back unconditionally." Jungkook informs him.

Five years?

We met before college?

What?

"Well will I ever be able to get out of these chains, will I be freed again?" Taehyung asks as he looks around and gestures his hands to the handcuffs. 

"I'm sorry but that seems like it's not going to happen until we gain each other's trust. I can't have you doing what you did seven years ago again. I won't let you." Jungkook says as he gets himself up. 

"Junghyun wait! Jung-"

"Kook."

"Excuse me?"

"It's Jungkook goddammit." Jungkook yells as he glares at Taehyung.

Jungkook?

Why is that name so familiar?

Jungkook calmed himself down as he started to turn away and leave towards the stairs, but Taehyung latched onto the hem of his shirt before he could. 

"Wait! Why do you want me here? What did I do before? And most importantly, why are you doing this?" Taehyung asked, a pleading tone present in his voice.

Jungkook turned to look at him again but his body still faced the stairwell. "I want you here because I need you far away from the world. I need you to see me and only me, I don't want you visible for the public's eyes. As to what you did before, that's a long, long story. And haven't I already told you why I was doing this before?" Jungkook explains to him.
