After first period I sped walked to the restroom
I usually never go to restroom because its super gross and has (almost) the worst pee smell ever
But right now I really had to use the restroom
I was the first one inside so of course I took the big stall
Shortly after, I heard voice enter the restroom
"Its okay girl, you'll find someone better," one of the voice said
Someone else sniffled and blew her nose
"I hate seeing you cry, your mascara is runny and you look emo" a different voice said
Really? You look emo because her mascara is running? She crying and that's the best comfort you can give her?
"Thanks for that Lexi," a familiar voice snapped
Lexi?
Skylar.
There was a long pause and I peeked through the crack between the stalls
Sure enough, Skylar, Lexi and Taylor were all in different mirrors, fixing their makeup
I'd been done using the restroom long ago, but the fact that Skylar was in the restroom crying made the restroom that more interesting
"OMG its smells terrible in here!" I assume Taylor complained.
"Here"
Suddenly the restroom smelled like a Hawaiian Breeze
I love Hawaiian Breeze
"Ugh!" Skylar screeched
"He just...just... With no warning just..." Then she broke into tears again
"Its okay there are so many more...hot,cute,tall,funny,fish in the sea!" Lexi smiled.
"Yeah....what Lex said..." Taylor said giving Lexi a "what the heck" look.
I began to put the puzzle pieces together
Skylar's crying talking about someone doing something with no warning,
Lexi is talking about "more fish in the sea" which references to...
There's more people on the world she may like!
Which also means....
SKYLAR AND NATHAN ARE NO MORE!!!!!!
I accidentally whisper shouted "yes!" Inside the stall
Thankfully they were to focused on perfecting their mascara to notice
I immediately texted Roxy the news
Me:OMG Roxy you won't believe what just happened!!!!!!
Roxy: Skathan or Nylar are broken up?
Me:Yeah! How'd u know?
Roxy: Both their instagrams don't have taken or the date they started dating anymore
Me:YAAASSS
Roxy:Bruhhh
I checked the time and I was probably going to be late if I didn't leave right now
Skylar and her friends had already left so it was safe to leave
I ran down the hall smiling uncontrollably but the bell rang about 10 seconds before I reached the door.
"You're tardy miss..." A substitute teacher unhesitatingly snapped
"Gabriella" I responded out of breath but still smiling
"I don't see what's so funny miss Gaprielta" she snapped again
"Its Gabriella" I resscolded.
"I don't care what your name is miss, you're tardy and you think its funny," she scolded.
"I never said I thought anything was funny, you just assumed that because I was smiling miss...whatever your name is,"
"First of all if you payed attention when you ran in here that it says my name on the board" she said pointing to the board with "Buttums" written in capital letters
"Ms....Bottoms?" I started to giggle along with the rest of the class
"Buttums!" The teacher yelled over or giggling.
"Aye, can we call you miss Butt for short?" The class clown, Ricky, yelled out.
"No you may not sir!" Ms.Buttums snapped
"And you miss Gaprielta-"
"Its Gabriella! I got your name right so get mine right too!" I said
Like really? How hard is it to say Gabriella? That's right ITS NOT!!!
"Don't interrupt me! I will be sure to leave a note about how disrespectful you are to me"
This is exactly why I despise substitute teachers
"Whatever at least I can get your name correct" I whispered under my breath, still standing at the door by the way.
"Go to your seat Gabriella" she said putting my name in air quotes
"Okay" I said also using air quotes

Thankfully, I had no more substitute teachers for the rest of the day.
The whole 8th grade was practically buzzing about Nathan's and Skylar's big breakup
I was so excited I finally had a chance again
Anyways, after dinner I took a shower and put on my pajamas.
My favorite show Catfish was coming on but of course I needed something to eat while watching the show.
I ran down the staircase and headed straight for the kitchen
I opened the freezer and pulled out a tub of cookies and cream ice cream
I put four big scoops in a bowl and poured chocolate syrup and strawberries on top
I ran back up the stairs realizing I forgot the spoon
I set the bowl next to my phone when it buzzed
I didn't bother to check it because I needed to get the spoon before Catfish started
I got the spoon just in time for Catfish
I was so focused on the episode I completely forgot about my phone
But I didn't care it probably was just one of my friends texting to say 'hey'....or it may have been....nope nope I'm not thinking about that anymore today nooo thank you.
After Catfish ended I pulled over the covers and settled in to go to sleep

My phone buzzed
What the heck?!?!?
I checked the time on the clock sitting on my desk
10:14p.m.
Okay its not that late but I was still asleep!
I grabbed my phone and practically,
No I actually did, fall off of the edge of my bed when I saw who texted me
It was Nathan
Apparently he texted me 3 hours ago saying "hi" then again just know saying "hi" again
Ohmigod ohmigod ohmigod ohmigod
As soon as they break up he texts me at 10:14 pm!!!!! This has to mean something!!!
I silent screamed then calmed myself and replied "hey"
I sat in my bed with my phone on my chest waiting for it to buzz again
Nathan:wassup gabby
Me: nun just watchin TV wby
6 minutes later
Nathan:nun
I had no idea what to talk about but he texted me so he must have wanted to talk to me about something
Me:soo... What do you want to talk about?
I waited and waited but no reply
Eventually I fell asleep.
