Two weeks later...

"Ughhhhhh" I groaned as I flopped on my bed.
Roxy's mom said she could come to my house for homework reasons.
But we both knew we weren't going to do any homework.
"What's your problem?" Roxy asks as she joined me on my bed.
"Okay I...well..." I trailed of and covered my face and I felt it getting hot.
"What?" She tried to pry my hands off of my face.
I put my hands down and smiled.
"Your blushing!" She squealed.
"So did you...earlier..."
"That was earlier and I told you why I was! Now confess!" She poked my arm with her pen.
"I-I..." I trailed off again and leaned back.
"Gabriella!" She cried, slapping my thigh.
"Oww!" I howled in pain as my inner thigh started turning bright red. "You know I have sensitive skin Roxy!"
"Sorry now spill!" She begged.
"Okay, to be honest...I dont really...I'm not...ugh!" I resisted once more.
Roxy raised her hand again as if she was going to slap me again.
"Sorry!"
"Just say it I won't judge!"
"Okay okay, here we go," I began again.
"So, this isn't anything really it's actually not official or anything,"
"I don't care, continue!" She leant closer.
"Its just, well, you know Dallas? The one that moved here like, I don't remember but he was new,"
"Yeah the one that doesn't even know your name but still gives you high fives in the hallway every time you see him? What about him?" She smirks.
I smiled but try really hard to hide it. Thankfully, she doesn't seem to notice.
"Yeah, him," I reply.
"Wait before you go on, you two, would be pretty cute together"
"Oh gosh...here we go, just stop," I lie.
"I'm just saying okay? So what about Dallas?"
I feel a sudden urge to not tell her about it anymore and I don't know why. It was probably the fact that she already said we would be cute together, that threw me off. I decide to keep it to myself and lie again.
"In the hallway today, I was trying to give him a high five, he wasn't paying attention, and I accidentally hit him in the face, then Juan did this weird thing that made me laugh so much and, yeah..." I fake laughed and smiled to try and make it seem more believable.
"That's it?" She questioned.
I chuckled a little more, "Yeah," I lied.
"Why was that such a secret? Why did you freak out over...over that?"
"I tried to tell you it was nothing!" I defended.
"But that's not-" she was cut off by the doorbell.
"That's my mom," she says, getting up off the bed and heading out the door.
"Bye I'll text you!" I shout after her.
"Kay!" She shouts back.
I hear the door creak open, followed by it slamming shut.
I trot down the stairs and lock the door and slide down the door on my back, letting out a big sigh of relief.
I slide back up and head to the kitchen for a snack.
I grab an orange and trot back up the stairs when my phone vibrates in my back pocket.
I check who its from and see
Unknown
I hesitantly open the text and whisper read it to myself.

Lying isn't your best talent. At least in my eyes. I see right through the walls you've tried to put up to block yourself from getting hurt. There is no need to be a afraid of me. I'm here to help. You just need to accept it. Put your walls down. Let me in. -O

Like always I reread the text over and over again but this time it felt different. That text seemed deeper and more thought out than the rest.
Put your walls down...
Let me in...
It sounded like something off of Tumblr or something. But what baffled me the most was the amount of different people partaking in these texts.
I mean each text has been a different letter at the end. I can't picture so many people trying so hard to 'Help me' how they want me to 'Let them in' It just doesn't make sense!
I threw the phone down in frustration and screamed in my pillow.
After a few minutes of letting my emotions out into my pillow, I bent down to pick up my phone. I stared at the text again and decided to try and finally get some answers from this guy.
Or these guys.
I was kinda scared to call him and I definitely wasn't going to face time, so I responded with another text.
Why are you doing this?
Within a few minutes of intense waiting, I got a text back.
To help.
That wasn't enough.
Go on...
Few minutes later,
I won't go on until you let me in.
This is beginning to sound creepy.
Let u in where? What does that mean?!?
This time I got an instant reply.
Let me in your life.
This is starting to get frustrating.
But idk u! Do I even get a choice whether ur in my life or not?
Another instant reply.
You don't need to know who I am...not yet.
Yes I do!
And yes you get a choice to let me in your life. Right now I'm just in your text messages.
I'm getting angry now...
DUDE yes I do need to know you and I'm about to block ur # if I don't get some answers!!!!
...
just let me in
The doorbell rang, scaring the living crap out of me.
I crept down the stairs and up to the door, looking out the window before proceeding.
I didn't see anyone there but the tip of a piece if paper.
I slowly cracked open the door, making sure nobody was hiding, waiting there to bust down the door and force their way inside my house. But all that was there was an folded piece of paper.
I quickly jumped out to grab it than jumped right back in the house.
I opened the folded piece of paper slowly, and my shaking voice read aloud,

"Let me in,"
