Chapter 11 {Pushing It}

Three weeks later...

"So to find the circumference of the building, we must..." I tuned my math teacher out.
The past few weeks have been a mix of stressful and peaceful.
I don't know how but
It just is.
Over those weeks I was introduced to a new genre of music and I love it.
I've been listening to trap and dub step music very often whenever I can and at full volume.
Everyone always becomes so irritable at school when the can hear my music and starts complaining non stop.
But the higher the volume
The easier it is to ignore them.
Anyways the stressful part is school itself.
I don't know what it is but fights have been breaking out almost everyday after school.
I've never been to one but I've seen many videos and it looks pretty bad.
The work is becoming harder and tests longer. I've gotten a few new friends and that's always nice but... I don't know...
"Okay everyone, and now for the last fifteen minutes of class we will be switching seats" I began to hear my teacher again.
Switching seats?!?!
This can end very well or horribly wrong...
"Okay everyone go stand on the far wall," she said pointing to the back wall closest to where Nathan normally sits.
"Okay so Lindy go sit over there, Haydn next to her..." I tuned her out again
I wonder what it would be like if I sat right next to him
I mean I have before but that was like in the second grade and he's changed so much now.
Would it be awkward
Or would it be...
Not awkward?
"Gabriella" my teachers muffled voice says.
But I can't hear her
"Gabriella" she calls again
"GABRIELLA!" Almost the entire class screamed.
I came too and saw everyone staring at me wonder where the heck I went.
"Sorry" I start to blush.
"You will sit next to Jai" she points towards Jai Brooks
Noooooooooooo!!
Jai Brooks and I have known each other since I met Nathan.
He is a complete idiot.
We used to be friends but he turned into a retard in 3rd grade so I drifted away.
He is a player and incredibly dumb
But he is really funny a times.
"Ewy its you" he makes a disgusted face.
"OMG I didn't know you could read minds?" I say sarcastically
"Yep and right now you're thinking 'Oh Nathan I love you soooo much'" he said in a high pitched girly voice.
Yeah,so Jai always suspected I liked Nathan but I never nor will I ever admit it to him
That's just not gonna happen
You know unless Nathan makes it happen...
But hey he has to make that move first...
"Ohh never mind I was actually thinking about the huge zit on your nose" I say acting as I were disappointed.
"What?!?!" He felt around on his nose.
"Hahaha!" I fell back in my chair laughing.
"Very funny" he said
"I know" I said still laughing
The teacher continued placing students and soon her pointed finger fell on Nathan.
She placed him not to far away from me but also not that close either.
He noticed me staring at him and nonchalantly 'sup' nodded his head.
I replied with another nonchalant head nod.

After class I tried to pry my way through the huge crowd of people, which were currently clogging the hallway and more importantly, blocking my locker.
But I hopelessly failed.
I ended up stuck in the very middle and being pull and push from every direction and I had no control of where to go.
There were very loud acreams of both teachers and students but the pushing never stopped.
This is why I hate school
But I also love school
For my friends
But that's it.
Anyways in the misted of all the pushing and pulling, a girl I had never seen before stood still and covered her ears with her eyes closed.
She looked terrified of the predicament we were currently in.
Everyone was pushing her but she stood still.
Some girls started yelling in her ear to move but she didn't budge.
For some reason I felt obligated to do something to help her.
Since everyone was already pushing everyone I didn't think it mattered if I myself shoved a few people.
I swung my arm in front of the girls which were currently screaming in the poor girls ear to move, and shoved them all backwards, sending some random people behind them tumbleing over
Oops,
I managed to pry one of her arms off her ear and she stared at me, eyes wide with fear.
I don't know what the heck came over me, but all of the pushing and shoving started to make me go insane.
"Get behind me!" I whisper shouted in her ear.
This is cometely crazy...
All the anger,
Hurt,
Sadness,
It all came at me at once.
I looked back at the girl who was standing behind me, eyes still wide with fear.
And then I started pushing people left and right.
Shoving, pulling, sending people in any and every direction.
All my frustration and confusion and pain came at me at the most random moment, but I didn't care.
Instead I took it out on probably fifty percent jerks and people I just don't like and then the other fifty percent being innocent bystanders and maybe some of my friends
I even sent this one girl that I just find flat out fake, flying into some random guy almost knocking them over.
Pretty soon I could see the way out but standing their ground, directly in front of me, was Nathan and his friends along with Dominic.
