"I'm...not sure how it will work out after the baby is born...but I guess that's a thought for later? My father...says unless your father can chance my job around, I won't be able to work." Draco said. "I'll talk to my father and see what he wants to do about the work. Because we do need help in other areas and Remus can always come help out a time or two a week." Harry said, before they finished their meal.
"Let me know for sure when the doctors appointment is. I'll find a way so I can go with you." Harry said at Draco's front door. "Are you not coming inside?" Draco asked, getting a kiss. "I have to talk to my father about the store." Harry said. "Oh, alright. You let me know what your father says, because I need to know if I need to find me a new job." Draco said. "I will, but I am sure my father can find you something else to do around the store." Harry said. "I am would rather that, because I'm not sure who would hire me." Draco frown, only to get a kiss. "Nothing you should worry about now." Harry said and Draco let out a sigh, before getting another light kiss and entered his house.
A lot kept on Draco's mind. Should he marry Harry? Or should he really try and make raising a child work under his father's stupid rules? He didn't know and Richard woke up to him sobbing to himself that night. "Brother?" Richard yawned, before he hung over the bar. "Nothing...go back to sleep, brother." Draco whispered, laying down in his bed before Richard let out a groan. Richard wiggled himself, and the billy, beside him. "Mama though you'd be upset, or at a lost, are you?" He asked and he could help but let out a cry. "I don't know what to do, Richy....I don't." Draco mumbled. "Well, see the doctor and take it easy for now. You even said it yourself, you wasn't ready for marriage." Richard said. "I did, but how the hell am I suppose to take care of a child like that? It isn't right we couldn't be...just because...ugh!" Draco said, throwing the blankets off him and grabbed his jacket. "I'm going for a walk." He half whined. "Brother, it's the middle of the night and Freezing outside." Richard whined, but Draco slammed the bedroom door shut.
It was nearly three in the morning when Draco reached Harry's front door. Giving a knock until somebody opened it. Lily, Harry's mother, who was feeding her youngest, Bethany, a bottle. "Draco, what on earth are you doing here?" She sounded more worried then anything. "...Can I wake Harry?" He mumbled. "Come inside, dear. I'll get him up, but does anybody know your here?" She asked, pulling him inside the house. "Richy... probably knows where I went when I wasn't back in a little while..." Draco whispered. "I'll call your father in a couple hours, dear. Hold her? She can finish her bottle, but she'll get sick if I go up the stairs with her." Lily said, and Draco nodded taking the little girl into his arms. Draco eased down in the chair in their dinning area, a bit of a mess form school projects it seems and Bethany looked at him all wide eyed before she yawned after finishing her bottle. Draco just gave her a pat on the head.
Harry yawned, but slipped on his shirt. "Now what do you mean Draco's downstairs?" Harry said, turning back to face his mother. "Just what I said. He walked here, and he has to be frozen! I'll start the fire place, but I must call his father on a couple hours." She pointed out and Harry let out a sigh. "Alright, alright...I'm sure he just upset himself." Harry said, before making the walk downstairs.
Once Lily started the fire and went up the stairs with her baby, Harry pulled Draco to sit on the couch. "Are you going to tell me what's wrong?" Harry asked and Draco just shrugged his shoulders. "I...don't know...what to do." Draco mumbled. "I don't know either...we just have to take it day by day, Draco. Why don't I talk to your father, maybe we can work something out by the time the baby is born?" Harry said. "A...part of me...is telling me to marry you...another part is telling me to just run away with you...another...is saying we are fuck...and another is scared......and How are we suppose to do it on your own if we did just run away?" Draco cried and Harry pulled him close. "Draco, we can talk about all of this. We have time and my parents told me no matter what, we can't rush any decision. We have to do what works for us, please, let me drive you home. I don't-" Draco shook his head. "I don't want to go back there, not yet!" Draco cried. "I...don't want to upset your father, about you staying over, Draco. I promise I will talk to him." Harry said. "I don't want to go home..." Draco mumbled. "Then I need to take you to my uncle's, please?" Harry nodded and Draco slowly agreed.
Draco woke up to a very giggly Betty and a cup of tea handed to him by Remus. "You're welcome here, anytime you need to Draco. I understand thanks aren't so simple on your head." Remus pointed out as Draco sat up, taking the cup of tea. "I just...don't know what to really do..., Remus. I didn't, at all, expect this to happen." Draco whispered. "I know, and for a little while, things are going to be scary... confusing, or other...but you can't leave in the middle of the night, you had your mama worried sick." Remus pointed out and Draco let out a sigh.
