"Is that safe? I know Mama is 35 weeks, that's Plenty, isn't it?" Lily asked. "You are full aware of how far they want pregnant person to be, 37 weeks. She's stable and baby B needs to grow. As much as possible anyway." Harry pointed out. "Oh, already." Lily said. "Are you sure Sirius doesn't mind watching the store today?" Richard asked. "I'm sure. He says to tell your sister Happy birthday." Harry smiled lightly. "I will. Kids hurry up, we have to get there by seven." Richard said. "How come all the parties are super early?" Athena whined. She wasn't feeling good and wanted to go back to bed. "Athena, what wrong?" Draco frowned, putting a hand on her forehead. "Why didn't you say anything about not feeling good?" Draco asked. "Because...I know we had planned..." She mumbled. "Sweet girl, if you don't fell well, then you need to let us know." Harry said.
Harry took Athena back to the room she shared with her two sisters and laid her down on the bottom bunk. "Harry, I called ma. She's not expecting either one of you. Are you sure you don't mind, I mean, I can stay." Draco said. "Absolutely, not. It's your sister's birthday. Go, spend some time with her. I got Athena." Harry said, getting a kiss on the cheek. "Next time, tell us when you don't feel good, okay?" Draco said. "I'm sorry." She whispered. "No, no. It's okay. Harry's going to stay with you, okay? Get some rest." Draco said, before he walked out the bedroom. Harry then pulled the covers over Athena. "I want you to get a couple more hours of sleep, and then I'm going to make you some soup. Okay?" Harry said. "Okay, Harry...I know I'm eight...but can...you read a story?" She asked. "Of course." Harry smiled lightly.
Harry pulled the cover fully up over Athena a few pages later and gave her forehead a kiss. Athena was asleep under the covers and the house was now quiet. Everybody else was gone, besides Harry and Athena.
Harry cleaned up the kitchen and had just opened the fridge when Athena cried out for Harry.
Harry found the young girl in the bathroom. She had almost made it to the toilet to vomit, but failed. She sat crying. "Hey, hey. It's alright. Let's get you cleaned up." Harry said, and started the shower. He pulled the girl to her feet. "It's cool, okay? You still have a temperature. Stay under the water for a few minutes, I'm going to clean this up and call your doctor, okay?" Harry said softly. Her pediatrician told Harry to go ahead and bring her in for a check up. So after Harry cleaned up the vomit and got Athena in some jammies, he picked her up, nuzzling a blanket around the girl. "Come on, let's see what the doctor says." Harry said, and carried the girl to the car. He put her in the booster seat, and buckled her in, tucking the blanket around her. "My...tummy still hurts." She fussed. "I know. I got this small trashcan. It's okay if you get sick again, I'm not upset. I just want you to feel better, that's why we are going to the doctors okay?" Harry said, but when Athena thrown up the second time in the car, Harry called the doctor, who then told Harry to take her to children's hospital.
A couple hours later, Athena laid asleep in the hospital bed. The I.V. medicines stop her from vomiting and brought her temperature down, enough to let the girl get some rest. "Why is wrong with my daughter?" Harry whispered to not wake her up. "She's got the stomach Flu, so I'm admitting her to the hospital, I understand your her foster father?" He asked. "I am, they've been with us almost two months. She's never been sick before." Harry said. "I'd recommend your foster children get flu shots. Their records show they haven't. It helps prevent the flu." He said. "My children, foster or not, get the vaccinations recommended by their pediatrician. He recommended waiting on their flu shots because they got behind on their vaccinations being in the group home." Harry pointed out. "Very well. Athena will be feeling better in a couple day. She probably won't be herself for about a week, but she'll make a full recovery." He said, before Harry nodded. "Thank you." Harry said.
--two days Later--
--November 19th--
--Thursday--Amanda knocked on the open hospital door of the children's hospital. Harry smiled lightly. "Hey, Amanda. Did you enjoy your birthday?" Harry asked. "I did, but Somebody was missing. How are you feeling?" Amanda asked, walking over to the hospital bed. Athena sat up, reading her Goosebumps chapter book. "I'm felling better, but the doctor doesn't want to let me go home yet." She frowned. "You had a very rough first day here, Athena, and your temperature has just went away." Harry pointed out. "I'm feeling better, though." Athena said. "The doctor just wants to be sure you stay okay." Amanda said. "I'm sorry I got sick on your birthday." Athena frowned. "Hey, don't worry about it. I've been sick on my birthday before, or somebody else's. It happens. I'm just glad you are feeling better, and I was passing the hospital anyway." Amanda said. "Are you on the way to the university?" Harry smiled lightly. "I am. I'm attending this spring, because I'll finish my last class by Christmas." Amanda said and Harry smiled. "Congratulations. I bet your daddy is really excited." Harry laughed. "No, he won't even let me get a dorm room!" She fussed but smiled. "I know Draco and I didn't marry, but we had two boys together. Richard and Lily married before they moved into the house." Harry pointed out. "I know. Until I marry or have a baby, I have to come home at night. I know." Amanda said, but Harry smiled.
