-- One Week and Five Days Later --
-- November 29th --
-- Monday --

The alarm went off the same time it did every morning for some time now, four in the morning. Draco reached over and turned it off, before he turned to face his husband-to-be, Harry James Potter. Harry let out a uncomfortable noise. He still didn't feel very good, not one bit, and today he had another round he wasn't at all looking forward to. Harry felt the light kiss to his cheek. "You don't have to get up right away. Your appointment isn't scheduled until eight, anyway." Draco said softly, hearing Summer start to whine. The alarm always woke her, and she was hungry. "Okay." Harry replied, rolling over in the bed. Draco pulled the blankets up over his shoulders before he climbed out of bed and quickly dressed himself.

He lowered the bar to his daughter's crib, before picking the six and half month old girl up. Draco give the baby her binky, before he exited the bedroom to head to the nursery to get her ready for the day.
A bottle was sitting, waiting on the changing table that Draco grabbed before laying Summer down. "Looks like Uncle Jeremiah is awake." Draco said, watching her put the nipple in her mouth, holding her bottle with both her little hands, starting to drink her breakfast bottle.
Draco found her a dress and just walked back over to the changing table when Lily Malfoy walked into the nursery, her little boy on her hip. Little Henry was a boy of now nearly nine months old. Henry wasn't the happiest little boy this morning as she eased him down in the crib. "What's the matter with Henry?" Draco asked. "He hasn't been feeling well. He's got a checkup today, so I'm taking Harry to his appointment." Lily said. "Sounds good. What about you? I know little man has been giving you a hard time." Draco said. She glanced over at him with a light smile, form her son's dresser. "Holden is good and growing." She said. "Awe! Did you guys decide on Holden?" Draco asked. "We did. I love the name, and he was surprised. He was certain it was a girl." She said. "Richard is happy, either way." Draco said. "I know. That little baby, how is he?" She asked and Draco let out a sigh, before picking Summer up. Summer was put on his hip as she finished her bottle. "Alive, but Jay wasn't wrong. He may never come home. He is deaf, on a feeding tube and a lot more. Remus is happy though, and determined. He will get him home and Jay approved the paperwork, fully. They will be able to adopted him, and Harry and I are talking to him about... Letting us keep Ethan and Emma, as well." Draco said. "I'm... assuming though, he isn't so quick to allow that?" Lily said, turning to face him, holding Henry's outfit for the day. "He doesn't want to have to leave them. Harry said we can always add more to the home, I know that's the plan for later, but maybe sooner then planned. He wants to offer Jeremiah a permanent place, but only if he agrees to allowing us to adopted them." Draco said. "He might, I mean..he ks eighteen with plans on university in the fall, correct?" She asked and Draco nodded. "In the end though, it's up to him." Draco said. "I see. We are meeting at daddy's today, you know." Lily said. "I'm away, your sister is 21, right?" Draco smiled. "She is. She's also 18 weeks with their little girl and she's engaged now." Lily said. "I don't know how it keeps slipping my mind, your sister is also having a baby!" Draco said. "Patty is pretty busy between everything, she hardly calls these days." Lily pointed out, before her boy started to cry for his mommy. "I'm coming sweet boy." She said.

Draco didn't have to start breakfast as Jeremiah was working on cooking with Emma, who was helping her Uncle cook. "Emma, why don't you go wake Jojo and the twins?"  Draco asked. "Time to get ready, alright?" She asked, looking at Draco who sat Summer down on the highschool. "It is." He said, watching Emma climbed off the stool and hurry up the stairs. "James called you last night, didn't he?" Draco asked, opening the refrigerator to grab some water. "Yeah..." He mumbled, flipping over some bacon, before he shrugged his shoulders. "Don't really want to talk about what happened, okay? I never really had parents. I had my brother, who got stuck with me." He said. "He loved you, or he wouldn't have took you in. You mean everything to Ethan and Emma." Draco pointed out. "I don't know how to take care of them, when I was still getting took care of. I have no idea what I am suppose to do come summer." He said. "I told you, We can keep them." Draco said, getting turned towards. "Only if you can adopt them. How on earth do I face my brother, if I told him I adopted his children out. It's bad enough, I agreed to David. They are my responsibility." He said. "Your brother sounds like a very good man, Jay. I'm sure he wasn't expecting to be killed, leaving you, at eighteen, with three children. He wanted you to be sure they are cared for and safe, that is your responsibility. Harry and I are adding into the the house soon, getting a couple more bedrooms and a bathroom added on. One, you will use, so you can live here too. Yes, we would rather adopted them, because you shouldn't have to stress out over trying to work them into your plans. You plan on going to university, on a scholarship out of state, that's four years. On top of getting a job and getting on your own. Your looking at years, you should have time to be yourself, and grow." Draco said and He shrugged his shoulders. "I don't think Ethan likes the idea." He whispered. "We can all sit together and talk about it okay? You are just a kid yourself. I know I'm not that much older, really, but I am the oldest of my lot and grew up a long time ago, that isn't the case here, with you. Ethan, will just have to understand this is what is best for not only him but everybody." Draco said. "I...still have to think about it." He said. "Of course."
