A week has passed since Siruis Black was shot at his brother's store. James Potter had to close the store for three days, while the officers came in and out and the blood got cleaned up. There found the man that shot Siruis, who was now sitting in a jail cell, with a major charge. Siruis Black, was able to go home yesterday afternoon, and hoped to be on his feet for today, but he woke up in bed, very achy. His husband, Remus lupin, found his pain killer and some water so he could take it. "She understands you got hurt." Remus said softly. "I still...rather be on my feet." He said, but Remus just eased him back down in bed. "You got shot, Siruis. You could have died and She is thankful, like everybody else, you came home to us. She is okay with you resting in bed. We are only having a small celebration, Lily is still in the hospital." Remus pointed out. "I'm glad she's been able to hold her twins inside. They are both healthy now, aren't they?" Siruis asked. "They are! They are going to wait until her water breaks. The longer is still the better." Remus pointed out. "And it will be their last, right?" Siruis asked. "Yes. She's going to have the hysterectomy after the delivery of the twins." Remus said. "I'm happy for another niece/Nephew, but Eddie should have been their last one." Siruis pointed out. "I'll agree to that, but we know for sure, the twins will be the last ones. Please, get some rest." Remus said.

Draco had breakfast on the table when everyone finished getting ready for school or work and joined the table. "Girls, Grandma is going to have you ready to leave once we get off. We have to stop by uncle Remus afterwards." Harry said. "I have training today, Harry." Henrietta said. "Right, right. Well, you'll have to call on the way then and wish Betty a happy birthday." Harry said. "It's Betty birthday?" Athena asked and smiled. "Yes it is. She is seven." Harry said. "Its hard to believe she is already seven years old." Draco said and Harry smiled. "She has grown a lot since we got together. After I take Henrietta to her training We will head to uncle Remus afterwards." Harry said. "uncle Remus?" Little Jojo whispered. Jojo was a shy girl who still felt out of place in her new family. "Uncle is fun!" Little James said. "So is Betty! She will like Jojo!" Little Lucius said and Harry looked over at her. "You don't have to worry about them. They are nice and Jojo will have fun, okay?" Harry said. "Okay, Harry." She said softly.

So, during the day, Remus and Betty's older siblings spend the day with Betty who was being all giggly at the attention, but after a while she got shy, even with her own siblings, and hid her face in her daddy's side. "Alright kids. Your sister is getting overwhelmed." Remus finally said. "Come have some tea with me, Betty." Remus said. She wanted to go outside, so they got buddled up and sat outside on the swing. "Daddy?" She asked, having a cup of tea. "They aren't upset, sweetie." Remus said. "No, that...ist it. Hollie and Brain both know their parents, an some of the others now their real family, even though you and daddy adopted them too, what about me?" She asked and Remus let out a sigh. He knew sooner or later she would ask about her family. He locked his arm around her. "We don't know anything about your family, Betty. Siruis and I got a couple about a...different kind of newborn girl in need of a home." Remus said. "They didn't want me... because I'm different." She said. "Maybe, but maybe not. Sometimes a mommy can't take care of her baby. There's a lot of reasons for that, but Betty. You have your family, that is all that matters." Remus said. "I know, daddy. I just...think about it sometimes, I would like to know." She said. "I would too, but we won't know. You just have to move forward because guess what?" Remus smiled, giving her cheek a big kiss. "Betty is my baby girl." He said. "Daddy! I'm not a baby anymore, I'm seven!" She pointed out. "You are getting to be such a big girl, yes." Remus said. "Can I go lay with daddy? I miss him." Betty said. "He would like that." Remus said.

Remus finished getting the other children some lunch, before he went to check on his husband and his youngest child. Betty was sitting up in the bed, talking to Siruis who sat up against the headboard, gladly listen to his daughter talk. "Betty, I though you were suppose to lay with daddy." Remus said. "I was up anyway. I was on the phone." Siruis said. "Who called?" Remus asked. "Rachel Whitney. Her and Reily are on the way over here and James is coming to pick me up. There is something that needs to be dealt with." Siruis said. "You just got home. The doctor was very clear." Remus frowned. "There's a man laying in a coma because somebody doesn't like his skin tone." Sirius said. "Why they hell happened?" Remus said. "I'm not sure...Rachel was very upset and their mom can't take them until this weekend." Siruis said. "I'll...get Hollie's room set up for them, please, be careful." Remus said.

After the two teenagers were dropped off, Siruis sat in the passenger side sit of the car James drove. "Now what happened?" Siruis said, as James started to drive. "A couple of his co-workers gained up on him, the man wouldn't fight back. He's only in the coma because the doctors put him in one so he can recover a bit better. I'm not sure the full details, but I'm just going to have him work at the Store. Solve this problem once and for all." James said and Siruis let out a sigh. "You think people would grow up." Siruis said. "Grown man are getting worst these days." James said and Siruis let out a sigh. "The girls can stay until the visit their mom this weekend, but then if he needs he can come stay with us until he's back on his feet." Siruis said. "I am not sure all the details yet, but I will find out." James said and Siruis nodded, relaxing into the car seat, his body still very achy, and he really shouldn't be one his feet.

Harry dropped Draco and the children off at Remus's house, before he headed to the hospital to meet up with his father and uncle. "Now what's about Richard W. Being in the hospital?" Harry frowned. "He got attacked at work, again." James said and Harry let out a sigh. Remus is also over there with Reily, who is very upset. Has anybody talked to his ex wife?" Harry asked. "I wouldn't know." James said. "I'm going to find his Ex-Wife then." Harry said.

He was told to go to her office, that was currently empty, but a nurse would have the woman paged. Who would return to her office a few minutes later. "Hello, how can I help you?" She asked. "Miss. Whitney, there's some information you should know." Harry said. "I haven't been Whitney in a long time, but what would that be?" She said.
Harry explain to her what they knew and the woman took off for the mental ICU and complain to a doctor for not informing her, he was here. "The girls?" She thrned to ask the small group. "Can stay with my husband and I until the weekend." Siruis said. "You think people in this day and age would grow up." She said, before disappearing inside the hospital room.

There wasn't anymore they could do, so Harry took Sirius back home. James went to his wife, who was still in the hospital, and would be until after the babies were born.

Harry felt the kiss to his cheek when he returned back to Remus house that evening. "Will he be okay?" Draco asked. "They think so, but it's bullshit. The man is only trying to do right by his daughters and the world seems to hate him for it." Harry frowned. "I'll see what I can do to help with the girls until he gets back on his feet." Draco said. "I know, come on. Let's go spend some time with Betty before we have to go home." Harry said softly.
