Poppy ran to Branch's bunker, quickly climbing inside.

"Branch!? Branch, are you in here!? Branch!?" she yelled out, running through the bunker, hoping that Branch had somehow made it home, safely, but there was no sign of him anywhere.

"No..." she whispered, tears in her eyes, as she turned, running out of the bunker.

She ran to the waterfall where she last saw Branch, looking down over the cliff, into the water.

"Branch!?" she called out, desperately hoping he would answer. "You promised, Branch!" she yelled, into the distance. "You promised you wouldn't leave me!"

Her tears clouded her vision, as she fell to her knees.

"Please..." she whispered. "Please, don't leave me."

Through her tears, she saw something sparkling down in the water.

     "W... what?"

She wiped away her tears, running down a narrow path to the water, where she jumped in, swimming down to the object she had seen.

     It was Branch's watch.

Quickly, she grabbed onto it, swimming back up to the surface.

She crawled up onto land, looking at the watch in her hands. It was completely frozen, the hands not moving even an inch. It had stopped ticking.

Slowly, she twisted to nob, hoping to get it started again.

It was no use... the gears where filled with water, and she just couldn't get it to start ticking again.

"Branch..." she whispered, knowing that he was gone. Gone forever. She would never see him again.

Crying, she hugged the watch, tight.

"I need you, Branch..." she whimpered. "I love you. I love you so much."

She held out the watch, looking at it again, suddenly noticing something in the reflection of the water.

"What the..." she said, looking at the reflection.

There was something on the back of the watch. Words... something had been written on it.

Slowly, she flipped the watch over, looking at the back side of it.

She gasped at what she saw.

It was Branch's hand writing. He had written something on the back of it in permanent marker, hoping Poppy would find it after he was gone.

     'Our love is timeless.'

She smiled at the words she was reading, but soon began to cry harder, as she hugged the watch again, her heart aching from her loss.

"I will always love you, Branch," she whispered.
