Epilogue

     Branch sat up in the clouds wearing a white robe and a halo. He also had a pair of angel wings on his back.

     He was crying, softly, as he watched Poppy through the portal, seeing how sad she was.

     His heart ached, seeing her in this state, as he lowered his head, his ears drooping, as he hugged his legs, burying his face in his knees.

"Ok, Branch. Time to sign, and then you'll be an official angel," the angel said, walking towards him with a pen and the book, but she froze, her smile fading, when she saw Branch.

He was so sad. But... this wasn't a place for sadness. It was supposed to be a place for happiness. Angels should never be sad.

She looked at him, and then noticed the portal, seeing he had been watching over Poppy.

"Hmm..." she sighed, thinking. "My job is to make my angels happy... so..." She smiled, coming up with a devious plan.

Poppy sat on her knees, hugging Branch's watch, until suddenly, she heard a noise.

She opened her eyes, looking around. Where was that coming from?

Finally, she realized what it was. Ticking...

Slowly, she looked down at the watch, seeing the hands moving.

Her eyes widened, as she stood, looking around.

"Branch!?" she called out. "Branch!?"

Suddenly, little specks of glitter appeared, beginning to sparkle around her.

She watched the glitter, as it all began to form together.

"B... Branch?" she whispered, the glitter, slowly forming into Branch, who was still hugging his knees, unaware of what was happening.

Poppy looked at him in disbelief, her tears slowly turning into joy, as she smiled.

"Branch!"

Branch's ears raised at the sound of Poppy's voice.

"P... Poppy?"

He raised his head, his eyes widening, as he saw her.

"Poppy!"

Quickly, he jumped to his feet, he and Poppy running into each other's arms, as they cried with joy.

     "You're back! You're really back!" Poppy cried out, hugging Branch tight.

     He smiled, kissing her forehead.

     "I love you two, Poppy," he said.

     She looked at him, confused.

     "You... you heard me?"

     He nodded, smiling at her.

     "I promised I would always be with you..."

     Poppy smiled, as she kissed him.

     They where finally together again... forever...
