Chapter 31

Alex's POV

I brought Maya up here to spend this beautiful day with her. We needed a change of scenery. I could see she was frustrated with the rain and she got bored just laying around, doing nothing. She was so excited to explore the island, to have beach days and drink cocktails.

I could've taken her literally anywhere on the island because this whole place is beautiful but I wanted to bring her here. I wanted her to see the untouched beauty of the wilderness on this mountain. I wanted us to spend some time doing something together. I didn't want the whole family to be with us today.

I wanted her to myself.

I'm really glad we talked earlier. I wasn't in a good place the last couple of days but I feel better now.

But I keep feeling better and better as the seconds go by. My beautiful mate is taking off her clothes right in front of me. It's like I'm seeing her body for the first. It's only been four days but it feels like a fucking lifetime ago.

I miss her. I miss seeing her naked and vulnerable in front of me. She still gets shy when she undresses and I have the opportunity to look at her from a distance but she does it anyway. She doesn't hide from me anymore and I absolutely love that.
But whenever we have sex that vulnerability goes straight out the window and she turns into this beautiful confident woman. The way she gives her body to me is absolutely everything to me.

I continue to watch as she takes off her pants which leaves her with that tiny red bikini covering her most precious parts.

"Baby I'm gonna say it again" she chuckles and ties her hair up. "If I feel some weird Hawaiian creature in that water I'm going to sleep in a different cabin tonight."

"No you won't" I laugh and reach out to grab her hand. I only roll my eyes at her empty threats. She would never sleep without me. She says she will but she won't, she likes my cuddles to much.

We reach the water and the temperature is amazing. Maya doesn't want to go in first but she has her hands on my hips, keeping me close as we walk deeper into the water.

"The water is so clear" she says as we reach a waist high depth.

I turn around and wrap my hands around her lower back. I want to see the look on her face and how much she enjoys it. I can feel the joy in her heart and every once of nerves has disappeared.

I keep walking backwards till the water is about shoulder height because I know Maya would feel safer if her feet could touch the rocks at the bottom.

"This is amazing" she whispers and wraps her arms around my neck. She is looking at the waterfall behind me with a gorgeous smile on her face. She puts her head past mine, mesmerized by the water behind us.

I feel a shiver down my spine when her half naked body comes into contact with mine. It's amazing how her body can still do that too me.

"Did you feel that?" she whispers in my ear.

"Yeah" I breathe out and smile at the fact that she felt it too. I pick her legs up and wrap them around my waist. I just want to hold her, keep her close as possible.

She pulls her head back to look at me. She smiles and then leans closer to kiss me. "Thank you for bringing me here" she whispers and kisses me again.

"You're welcome baby" I smile and kiss her again. "Does it feel like you're on vacation yet?"

"Yes" she smiles. "This place is so beautiful."

She takes a satisfying breath and looks up at the sky. I bite my lip at the sight of her gorgeous neck, stretching out before me. I can see the vein in her neck that holds the most delicious and precious blood of all. Her heartbeat is overpowering the sound of the waterfall and my eyes dilate in lust. I haven't tasted her blood in a few days and it's driving me insane. I don't need it at all but I want it, it's like a drug to me. I miss the taste of her blood and that intensified feeling when she trembles beneath me in pleasure.
