Chapter 32

Maya's POV

"Can I be sad that it's our last night here?"

I hear a slight chuckle behind me and her arms wrapping tighter around my waist.

"Of course you can be sad baby" she whispers and kisses my shoulder. "But Spain will be just as beautiful. I promise to take you everywhere you want to go"

I only hum in response and keep my eyes on the horizon with a undeniable smile on my face.

A few days ago Alex convinced me to come swim with her in the ocean. I really wanted to try it but I was still a bit scared. I knew I would be safe with her I was just still a bit nervous.

I mean seeing that much water in front of you, that deep and unpredictable all while you can't swim. That's pretty scary.

We went out on a boat ride during the week as well. It was one of the best experiences of my life. Just to be on the water and seeing the island from that perspective was absolutely breathtaking.

Alex, Marcelo and Lilly jumped into the water without a second thought but it took me a little longer. Alex's mom told me I didn't have to jump in but Alex climbed back onto the boat and convinced me with some sweet, comforting words and even more sweet and comforting kisses.

And so I did, I jumped in the water. Alex was there to catch me of course but I didn't like it. I didn't like the feeling of not having my feet on the ground. Alex held me in her arms the whole time but I started to panic. I kept thinking some sort of sea creature would catch my feet and drag me down to the bottom.

Even having six supernatural beings around me, six people who would never let anything happen to me, I still couldn't help but get nervous.

And the loving girlfriend I have, she immediately took be back up. She kept apologizing and I told her it was ok. I wasn't mad at her, I just didn't like it that much.

But this, floating in the calming ocean waters, close to shore with my feet on the ground and Alex's arms around me the whole time. This I can deal with.

I can actually more than deal with this. I absolutely love this.

She brought me out here to watch the sunset one day and now, seven days later I don't want to watch the sunset anywhere else.

We are leaving for Spain tomorrow and I'm really excited about it but this vacation has been a dream come true. I never thought I'd have this opportunity to be on an island for my summer vacation. I have my family, best friends and my one and only. It doesn't get any better than this.

"I'm excited to stay in a castle again" I giggle and throw my head back against her shoulder. "I'm so happy you're a princess"

She laughs, leaving soft kisses on my neck which gives me goosebumps but I like her kisses too much. I would never tell her to stop.

"And that bed of yours." I groan in satisfaction. Just the thought of sleeping in her comfortable bed again makes me so happy. I like to sleep and I could fall asleep on any surface but my gosh, Alex's bed is out of this world.

"Ok maybe I'm not sad that we're leaving anymore."

"Just because of a bed?" she laughs.

"Not just the bed babe" I blush with a small chuckle. "I like your bed only when your in it."

"Hmmm" she moans and I feel her playfully bite my neck which is a little too ticklish for me to handle.

"No baby" I gasp in laughter and duck my head away from her. "You'll break my skin!" I turn around to look at her and hold my neck. "One drop of blood will call every shark nearby."
