Chapter 33

Alex's POV

Fifty three beats per minute. Her beautiful heart is beating at a constant fifty three beats per minute.

She looks so peaceful and absolutely breathtaking. I can never get tired of this sight. I could sit here the whole day and listen to her heart beat.

Her silk blonde hair in a beautiful contrast with my black sheets. Her mouth slightly open, taking calm and rhythmic breaths. Every now and then her eyebrows twitch, probably from another adventure her subconscious mind took her on.

But as much as I love watching her sleep, she really needs to wake up. Not only because she's been asleep for almost ten hours but we are finally in Spain and I know how excited she was about that.

She even tried to stay awake till we get here but I don't know who she was trying to bluff because I knew she wouldn't make it.

My baby loves to sleep.

I slowly lean down and kiss the tip of her nose. She frows a bit but her eyes stay closed. I lean down and kiss her again and she slightly jerks away from me and squints through narrow eyelids.

I only smile at her confused face and after a few seconds a smile of realization spreads across her face. She turns her face away into the pillow and smiles.

"Good morning beautiful" I whisper and softly kiss her cheek.

"Hi baby" she says in a whisper and her arm reaches out for me. I grab her hand and leave soft kisses up her arm, all the way to her shoulder. She turns her head to look at me but her eyes take a quick glance around the room.

She lifts her head with a frown but it turns into a very big smile on her face. "We're in Spain!"

"Yes we are" I smile.

"Oh my gosh yes!" she squeals and throws her arms in the air. She turns onto her stomach and grab the pillows around her with a satisfying groan. "Why did you wake me up?"

"Because it's almost noon sweetheart. You have to wake up" I smile and run my hand over her back.

Once again she sighs with a deep satisfaction and arches her back into my hand. It only lasted a second before she jerks her head up again and turns to face me. She then looks down at her chest and then back at me.

"Baby?" she turns around on her side and my smile just widens. "Why am I naked?"

"You are not completely naked." I chuckle and lift the blanket to show her that she's wearing panties. It's a black thong which doesn't really cover much but it still counts.

"Alex!" she laughs and pushes my shoulder as she sits up

"What?" I laugh.

"Baby..... did you?" she frowns.

"Did I what?" I smirk and lean closer to her face. I know exactly what she's thinking without even reading her mind.

"Alex!" she laughs but I can hear the frustration in her voice. She covers herself back up and I can see she is shy now.

I put my hand over her body and clean closer to her face. She puts one hand on my chest and grips my shirt. "I didn't touch you Maya." I whisper to her in a sincere tone. "I would never take advantage of you like that baby. You know that"

She puts her hands around my neck and leans her head against mine. "I know. I'm sorry"

"You sleeping naked next to me was my reward." I smile with pride and she frowns again.

"Reward for what?"

"I had to carry you all the way up here." I laugh and sit back to look at her. "This is the second time I had to carry you after you passed out."
