Chapter 8

You put your phone away on your table so you would not stare at the screen waiting for his message.

Inside your home you twirled around and flopped down on the couch.
You still could not realize your luck.

You went to bed with a smile that night.
You felt yourself slipping away when something lit up.
You opened to your eyes to see a message on your phone.

It was a unknown number. You sat up. No way! No way?!
It was Kojiro! he wrote you... You could not believe this. 
You could only hope this wasn't a dream.

You opened to read the full message.
"Hey beautiful,

I really enjoyed talking with you, I hope we can do this again soon."

"Hi Kojiro.." You begun to type but erased the text immediately. This sounded weird.

"I had a nice time too, are you free anytime this week?"

You waited for his reply. You hoped he would reply. It was the first time you asked someone out.
When you meet Chiaki he always did the first step.

You watched the three dots appear and disappear for sometime and hoped he was not rejecting your move but the longer he wrote the more dejected you became.
After five minutes of him waiting to reply you closed your phone and put it back on the table.
You decided it was not worth losing sleep over this.

"if he decides to reject my offer then its my loss."
you pulled up the blanket and closed your eyes.

You had avoid looking at your phone all morning since you spotted Kojiros name on the screen.
The uncertainty was killing you but the anxiousness of the chance that he may reject you overwhelmed.

When you were on break you and Kaoru went out just like yesterday enjoying the nice weather when you decided to just open the message.

"I am free everyday after 5, just come over to Sialaluce when you have free time,"
"What?" you exclaimed surprised.
"Everything alright?" Kaoru stepped down from his board and walked back to you.

"Yeah everything just fine!" Your voice was chipper and Kaoru looked at you with a concerned face. You had been in such a sad mood the entire morning. What could have stood in that message to make yu happy in an instant?

It seemed like Kaoru did not fully believe what you said, so you smiled at him and reassured that everything was alright.

You could not believe you made such a fuss. Every doubt you had flew out of the window.

He was not rejecting you.

He basically told you, you could come over every time and he would make time for you!
"Then I will come over after work today," You replied. You felt bad for leaving his message unread for so long.

Not even five seconds later Kojiro replied with a heart smiley and a confirmation.

You pressed your phone to your chest and smiled.

You would see him again today.

Once the clock hit five you grabbed your bag and flew out of Sakurayashiki and made your way over to Sialaluce.

The door chimed as you walked into the Italian restaurant.
You spotted the outstanding green hair immediately.

Kojiro was whipping the counter top and had jet to spot you.
He really looked focused on cleaning.

You walked over to him and greeted him, with a smile.
"Hi Kojiro,"
His head snapped up and he beamed at you.
"(Y/N)!" He exclaimed put the cloth away and whipped his hands on his apron.
He came around and hugged you.
