(Todoroki pov)

My leg bounced up and down in worry and stress as I continue to watch the clock. My husband was supposed to be home around 8 pm but it's currently 10:30 pm. Being a pro-hero I know the dangers of the streets and I couldn't help but worry for my partner of six years. I let out a soft sigh as I pulled my phone out. As I was about to press the call button I heard keys jingling by the front door. I stood up and opened the door myself only to see my husband who had extremely dark and big eyes bags. He looked up at me with wide eyes. He brought a shaky hand up to my face before his eyes rolled to the back of his head and he fainted. I quickly caught him and held him bridal style. I closed the door and locked it before carrying (M/n) to our shared bedroom. I laid him down on the bed before quietly and carefully undressing him.

I left him with his boxers and went to the kitchen to grab a bowl of lukewarm water and a body rag from the bathroom. I went back to (M/n) and made sure to wipe most of the grime and sweat off my husband. I smiled softly as he relaxed and let a small smile come to his face. I grabbed one of the spare chairs in the room and grabbed a book and placed them next to where (M/n) was laying. I went towards our shared closet and grabbed (M/n) my favorite hoodie before going back to him. I carefully slipped the hoodie on before I placed the blanket over him. I sat down next to him and began reading my book. I made sure that every twenty or so minutes I wiped him down with the rag as well laid a small rag on his forehead to prevent overheating. I smiled softly down at my husband when he moved and began to softly snore. I began to gently play with his hair and ultimately grabbed his hand and fell asleep myself.

(M/n pov)

I groaned slightly as I felt the sun on my eyes. I open one of my eyes and when I went to move I felt something holding my hand. I looked over and saw my sleeping husband, Shoto, sitting on the chair with a book on his stomach. I slowly moved towards him before I gently caressed his face. "Sho. Baby, wake up." I whispered. He groaned and his eyebrows furrowed before he woke up and looked over at me. He smiled softly at me before he spoke up, "Did you sleep well, honey? You really need to stop overworking. You fainted yesterday." I sat on his lap and I sighed softly, "I know but I umm wanted to get you something I thought you'd really like." He smiled softly before he gently caressed my face, "I appreciate you so much, darling. But I got you, honey. You should have to worry about that. Nothing makes me happier than having you by my side."

I blushed lightly, "Who taught you to be so smooth like that, Sho." He chuckled lightly, "Kaminari and Sero have been giving me lessons. Are the lessons working?" I smiled and pressed a kiss on his cheek, "Yeah, I think they really are working." He smiled at me and gently grabbed my face before kissing me softly. "I love you, (M/n). I love you so freaking much. You mean the world to me and seeing you faint like that made me worry so much. So please I beg you don't overwork yourself so much." I smiled at him, "I love you too, Sho. I really do. I'm so glad I was able to marry you."
