I sniffed a bit before taking a bite of my ice cream. About a week ago I had found out that my boyfriend of two years was cheating on my way before we even started dating. I punched him straight in the face after I had caught him making out with the other guy. I let out a soft sigh before I continued to eat my ice cream. After I initially found out that I was being cheated on and caused a black eye on my ex I had locked myself in my dorm room. My teacher plus two of my friends came to visit me throughout the week but none got me to open the door or to speak to them. I only ever came out of my room to shower which usually was at the dead of night and to grab some food from the dorm's fridge. I leaned back as I watched whatever random movie was being played on my TV.

As I continued to watch the movie I heard a knock at my door. I opted out for staying quiet in hopes that the person would go away. Unfortunately, that continued to knock on the door. Suddenly, it got extremely quiet for a second and then I heard someone speak up, "Hey (M/n), it's me Mirio. I was wondering if you are okay? I saw (R/n) making out with another boy and with a prominent black eye so I realized that the reason you haven't left the dorm must be because he did something." I didn't reply I could hear him sigh through the door so I assumed he finally gave up and walked away. Just as I was about to go back to watching my movie I heard Mirio speak up again, "(M/n) do me a quick favor and cover your eyes if you're awake." I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion before I did as told.

I could hear a bit of shuffling before my door was opened and closed again. I heard a bit more shuffling before I heard Mirio speak though I took notice of how loud he sounded, "Hey you can uncover your eyes again." I did as told and was surprised to see Mirio standing in front of me with a small frown on his face. He sighed as he sat on my bed and grabbed my hand and gave it a gentle squeeze then he spoke up, "(M/n) I'm always going to be here for you. And for that ex of yours, excuse my language, I hope he gets hit by a fucking truck for ever hurting someone as amazing as you." I stared at him for a moment before I looked down at our connected hands and spoke up, "Thank you, Mirio. I thought that I would be better if I healed alone but I not even sure if I'm any better." I heard him let out a soft sigh before he spoke up, "Then I'll be your hero and be there for you (M/n)." I stared at him before I got up from my spot and sat down next to him and laid my head on his shoulder. He tensed for a moment before he laid his head on mine. "Thank you for being my hero Mirio," I said as I closed my eyes.

It was a couple of months later and Mirio and I kept hanging out with each other at some point during one of our hangouts he introduced me to his two friends which was quite nice because Nejire said something to Mirio that caused him to turn bright red. Currently, Mirio had asked me to meet him by the gardens so that's where I was going. As I got there I saw a figure standing in the distance. As I got closer I realized it was Mirio. Once he notices that I had arrived he turned around and I realized that he was holding a bouquet of (f/f) in his hand. I looked up at him and smiled softly when I realized that he was blushing and looked a bit nervous. He cleared his throat before speaking up, "Um (M/n) glad to see that you came. Before I freak out and run off let me quickly say this." I stared at him while smiling softly silently encouraging him to continue. He let out a soft sigh before he continued, "(M/n), I really like you and I can only hope you feel the same. I was wondering if you would like to be my boyfriend?" I stayed silent for a second out of shock before I grabbed the flowers and smiled up at him. "I would absolutely love to be your boyfriend, Mirio. I have felt the same for a while." He smiled brightly before picking me up and spinning me around which led to me giggling. He put me down before he pecked my forehead, "Boyfriends?" I smile, "Boyfriends"
