I sat on my bed while looking out the window. It's about 11:30 pm and I was waiting for the time to turn to midnight because that meant I was officially 21 and that I could finally speak to my soulmate or soulmates. I let out a soft sigh before ultimately deciding that I didn't want to spend my birthday in my apartment alone. I put on one of my many coats and my sneakers before I headed towards one of the many 24-hour convenience stores. I headed inside and began looking for a cupcake and a single candle. Once I bought it I checked the time and smiled a bit when I realized that there were two minutes left till the clock strikes twelve. I opened the cupcake up before I stuck the candle in. I pouted a bit when I realized that I didn't have a lighter but I let it be and prepared myself to make a wish. I closed my eyes, 'I wish my soulmate or soulmates are strong and caring and love me lots.'

I 'blew' the candle and that's when I felt the ground shake underneath me. I looked up and made eye contact with a creature that looked like a bird. 'What kind of monster is that?' I thought before running away from it. It began to chase me and in my freak out I didn't hear the voice in my head trying to me. I finally went down an alleyway and hid behind a trash bin while covering my mouth. 'Please I don't want to die. I haven't even erased my internet history.' It was quiet until two different voices spoke up in my head, 'Hello, who are you?' 'Are you another soulmate?' I paused for a second, 'Yes I'm (M/n). Please help me. Some weird creature is trying to kill m-.' Before I could continue my sentence I heard something smack the trash bin. I looked up and there was the creature making eye contact with me.

I backed away from it and that's when I felt two pairs of legs. Before I had a chance to speak up a voice spoke up, "That's enough out of you. Go look for pro-heroes and kill them." I flinched at that but flinched even harder when the creature jumped up and away. I let out a small sigh of relief before I shakily stood up. I looked up at the two and paused when I realized who they were. They were Shigaraki and Dabi from the league of villains. I stared at them before Dabi spoke up his voice soft but deep as if he was afraid to scare me, "Are you (M/n)?" That's when it processed in my mind. My soulmates they're villains more specifically ones part of the biggest villain group. I stared at them before something flashed through their eyes. "You're scared of us?" Shigaraki asked while scratching at his neck.

Before I could stop myself I walked over to him carefully and hesitantly before I pulled his hand away from his neck. I gently touched the new scratch with a frown on my face. "Yes, I am" I ultimately said my voice just above a whisper. They looked at each other and frowned. Before I could stop myself I looked at both of them and back away. "I'm not sure why the two of you are villains. I'm going to guess that someone did you wrong and you're getting revenge. But I might not know the whole truth but just know that life doesn't have to always be about revenge. I understand how easy it is to get in your head and want to hurt those who wronged you but forgiving and moving on is not forgetting what they did is just being the bigger person. I hope you guys understand where I'm coming from. But until you two change your ways I don't see myself being with people who kill others even if they are my soulmates."

With that, I ran off to my apartment and ignored their pleading calls for my name as well as their voices on my head. It was about two weeks later when I was watching the news and saw that the police had gotten a note from the league of villains that said that they were giving up their life of crime and turning to a new page. I paused before I finally decided to contact them. 'You guys gave up your revenge?' I asked softly. I heard them reply with a small yes. I sighed a bit before I spoke up, 'I live on [Random address] hurry and show up before I change my mind.' It was quiet until I saw a purple portal appear in my living room. Soon my soulmates walked through the portal looking rough but happy to see me. I looked down at Shigaraki's hands and saw that he was wearing gloves that protected me from his quirk.

I stared at them before I stood up and pulled them both into a hug. "Are you guys sure you're done with the villain's life?" I asked softly. Dabi gently played with hair before he spoke up, "We want to change for the better and you." I pulled away from the hug and smiled softly. "I'm (L/n) (M/n). Nice to officially meet you two." They smiled just as soft to me. "I'm Tenko Shimura." I looked over at Dabi who seemed a bit stiff before he sighed and spoke up, "I'm Touya Todoroki." I smiled softly before I pushed them both onto my couch to cuddle. "I'm glad I have you two now. I was really sad before when I had to leave you two in that alley." They hummed a bit in agreement before Shigaraki spoke up, "We feel the same way."

That was the start of a wonderful relationship. It's safe to say that the wish I made on my 21st birthday came true.
