Harry had showed up around four, Ginny following close behind him. She had gotten time off quidditch for the day to be with Harry. She was also trying to be there for Athenadora as well, but she knew she wasn't much support when it came to the girl who had lost practically everything. At least Harry still had her, Athenadora didn't have anyone but her best friend George, and a family of red heads who would do anything for her.
Ginny knew Athenadora still hadn't forgiven them for what had happened when she told them she was pregnant with Mona. Ginny didn't hate the girl for it, nor did she think the girl was wrong in any way for not trusting them as much anymore, but it still hurt to know. Athenadora would always have a family, even if she didn't realize just how much they loved her.
"Ready to go, love?" Ginny asked, looking over at Athenadora.
"Yeah, just let me make sure the kids have their shoes on." Athenadora answered, walking out of the room.
Harry and Ginny gave each other a look, both clearly noticing the sadness in Athenadora's eyes, though she tried to hide it well. Athenadora came back into the room with Mona on her hip and Teddy by her side. Ginny and Harry smiled, leading the young mother and children to the fireplace. Harry held on to Teddy to floo, knowing it wouldn't have been easy for Athenadora if she had both children.
Once they were in Diagon Alley, Harry lead Ginny and Athenadora to the Leaky Cauldron. They would've went to a muggle restaurant, but Harry wanted to add more sentiment to the dinner. The Leaky Cauldron was where he had met Athenadora for the first time, which was only a day or so before his first day of Hogwarts. She was one of the nicest people he had ever met, which saddened him when he remembered everything she had went through.
"Why the Leaky?" Athenadora asked, as she sat down with her two children across from Harry and Ginny.
"I figured it would be nice to come back here. If you remember, this was where I had met you for the first time. You were the first witch I met, and you were one of the nicest ones I have ever known." Harry replied, causing Athenadora to show a small smile.
"He's right, ya know? You were one of the nicest witches in our lives. Hell, I still think you're one of the nicest, given the circumstances of course. I don't know what we'd do without you, Thena." Ginny commented, grabbing Athenadora's hand in hers.
Draco could see them from across the room, but he was scared to go over to them. Since the Wizarding War, Harry had become part of the Ministry as an auror, Ginny joined the Holyhead Harpies, and Athenadora was a part of the joke shop Draco had yet to ever visit. He didn't even know Athenadora, he only knew that her father was Remus Lupin. He remembered bullying her for being a half-blood, and telling her she was the daughter of a monster. He had never spoken to her other than the one insult during DADA class in his third year.
Draco didn't really have a choice but to go over to them, since he was the person to take the orders from the tables. He slowly made his way over, subconsciously pulling at his sleeve to cover his Dark Mark. He could feel the phantom burns of the mark, as if it was still active to this day. He knew it wasn't, but nothing could stop his subconscious from thinking about it.
Athenadora was the first to notice him, looking up at him and catching his eyes with hers. Though he was expecting a look of disgust or fear from the half-blood, he couldn't help but feel a bit better when he seen the curious gaze she had set on him. He hoped that maybe she wouldn't remember what he had said, or maybe she was willing to forgive and forget.
"H-hello--" He began, but was cut off by Harry.
"Malfoy, I didn't think you'd work here. You have all the Malfoy money, since your father is locked away." Harry said, causing Draco to clench his jaw.
Draco now remembered why he had disliked Harry Potter all those years, but he couldn't let it mess with his job. He didn't want to be fired because Harry was being a jerk.
"Harry," Athenadora murmured, as she sent him a warning look,"I'm sorry about him, Draco," She commented, shocking the blonde when she spoke his name without disdain or disgust,"we'll have three butter beers and two pumpkin juices." She said, and he nodded quickly.
After Ginny had ordered the food, which Athenadora had practically argued over not getting, Draco went back towards the bar with their order. He normally felt angry or upset when he left someone's table after another wizard or witch insulted him or glared at him, but leaving this table was different. Athenadora made him feel different, unlike everyone else that had made him feel like trash like Harry had.
Athenadora was shocked to see Draco Malfoy working at the Leaky Cauldron. She had remembered him from when her father was a professor. She also remembered that he had been a part of the death eaters, but she could see the regret and sadness in him. She wasn't going to forgive him, not after what had happened to Sirius, Remus, Tonks, Fred and many others. She didn't know if he was worth forgiveness, but she also wanted to know why he did it. She wanted to know why he had been a part of the death eaters. She wanted to know why he tried to kill Dumbledore and let the death eaters into Hogwarts. She had many questions, but there wasn't any answers. She almost wanted to sit Draco down and ask him all the questions, but she couldn't, especially not around Harry...
