Athenadora began to make dinner, as Teddy and Mona played with their new kitten. Draco had laid all of the kitten's things on the sofa, so Athenadora would be able to sort the things out later. Teddy and Mona seemed to be very friendly with the kitten, so Athenadora wasn't too worried about leaving them alone with the kitten. She wouldn't leave them alone long, but she was still able to let them stay alone with the kitten for a little bit.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" Athenadora asked, as she sat down at the table with Draco.

"First, I wanted to thank you for defending me so often. You may not think you're defending me intentionally, but everything nice you've said about me, I've heard and I really appreciate it. Secondly, I want to be completely honest with you. I have wanted to talk to you since you were in Hogwarts with me. I never had the opportunity or the courage, but I've finally pushed myself to talk to you. You're a nice person, Athenadora, and I'd really like to be your friend if you'd let me." He stated, and Athenadora smiled.

"Draco, you can call me Athena or Dora, everyone else does. You weren't the nicest person in Hogwarts, but I'm willing to forget all of that. You never intentionally became a death eater, so I'm not going to throw that on you. You were a blood supremacist, but I believe you've changed. If you can prove to me that you and I should be friends, I'll agree to be your friend. It's not hard to be my friend, as long as you don't insult people based on their blood status or their looks, our friendship will be easy. Use respect and I'll be friendly." She said, and he quickly nodded.

Draco and Athenadora worked together to get their dinner done, and once everything was ready, Draco went to grab the kids. Athenadora fixed a bowl of food for the kitten, and she sat the bowl of food and a bowl of water near the table so the kitten could eat close to everyone else.

"Are you happy you have a kitty?" Athenadora asked, as she looked between her two children.

"Yes!" Mona exclaimed, a grin on her face.

"Thank you, Mummy!" Teddy shouted, as he shoved another bite of pizza into his mouth.

Draco liked the taste of the pizza, which was something he had never tasted before. Pizza had a weird texture and taste, but he thought it was actually really good. Honestly, he believed he'd probably eat it again, if he could remember where to buy it.

"Mr. Draco, do you have a pet?" Teddy asked, causing the blonde man to shake his head.

"I have an owl, but he's not technically a pet. My friend and I share him, since he's too lazy to buy his own." Draco answered, shrugging slightly as he talked about his friend.

"Did you have one when you were little?" Teddy asked, deciding to ask a lot of questions while he ate with the new guest at the table.

"No, my parents wouldn't allow it. They didn't believe I needed one." Draco said, though he knew it was all a different story when it came to having a pet around his family.

"Want one now?" Mona asked, looking over at Draco with doe eyes.

"I don't know. I work, so I really wouldn't have time to take care of a pet. Besides, you two picked the best kitten, I doubt I'd find another cute one." Draco replied, as he smiled at Mona lightly.

Draco knew two of the most important people in Athenadora's life were Mona and Teddy. He knew one way to get into her good graces was to make the two children like him. Honestly, the children weren't terrible and he actually liked them, but he wasn't going to admit it just yet. The kids seemed to already like him as well, which was a plus in his mind.

"As a plus to our friendship, I was thinking I could take you and the kids out for the day." Draco commented, looking over at Athenadora.

"When?" She asked, looking over at Draco.

"I was thinking maybe Saturday. I can come and grab you all at around eight and bring you to breakfast. We can do whatever you want all day, and I'll provide the food as well throughout the day." He said, and Athenadora smiled.

"That sounds like a great idea. We'd love to go out with you, Draco. I will make sure we're ready when you arrive." Athenadora replied, causing Draco to smile as well.

Draco felt a little flutter in his stomach, which made him feel weird. He never really understood many feelings, since his normal feelings were angry, sadness, and regret. He never really felt happiness unless he was around his friends, and even then he didn't really feel as happy as he use to after he had been associated with the Dark Lord.

Athenadora felt happy that Draco was including her children when he wanted to hang out with her. Normally, when anyone wanted to try and be her friend, they didn't want her children around. George had told her many times that he hated people who didn't want to associate with Athenadora's children, since Athenadora's children were such sweet and caring individuals.

Teddy really liked Draco already, since he really hadn't been around many guys often. Sure, he was around George and Arhtur, sometimes Harry, Ron, Percy, Bill, or Charlie, but normally he was around Molly and Athenadora most. They were the two people who took care of him the most, so he was use to having them around. Teddy really liked having new people around, especially now that the new person was a male who could teach him more about things boys do.

Athenadora almost hoped her and Draco's friendship lasted. She hadn't really had many friends since Fred had died, and she wanted to make George happy since he had really wanted her to make more friends. He wasn't going to be happy that she was friends with Draco Malfoy, but there wasn't much Georgr could do about it. If Athenadora was happy, than George would have to learn to be happy for the girl...
