Summary of first Two chapters:

Set in the Backdrop of pre independence era, Bondita Daughter of a teacher Niranjan Das and Sumati Das Grows to be a Inquistive girl who wants to change and bring change in the society by becomming Barrister where studying for Girls is Prohibitted. Still she have manged to complete her school and is planning to enroll Herself in Law college in Calcutta but Her Father like other Men wants to get her Married off soon, But she was Rejected by many Grooms as she is educated. Finally The Roy Chowdharies Of tulspiur is willing to Marry Bondita To their Elder son Anirudh Roy Chowdhary. Anirudh who came to India to visit his kaka was not aware of the Wedding preperations still he had to oblige because of his love for his kaka. Making several attempts to Stop the Wedding Both Anirudh and Bondita were Hitched...

Whole RC haveli is gearing up for the Bashi Biye rasam of the New couple Anirudh sat Frusturated with Things happening, He wanted to complete his Law degree, he wanted to work for the Progress of his Nation whereas his Kaka is Pushing him into Family life. He sat in the Room sulking and Trilochan Knocked the Door and came inside.

" Beta tayaar hojao aaj Bashi biye ki Rasam hai " Kaka said assertively.

" Main koi rasam vasam nayi karne wala " Anirudh uttered turning his Face.

" Jab aadha beeg gaya Chahthi pakdkar kya zaroorath, tumhara shaadhi hochuki hai ab is rasam karne mein kya harz hai tayaar hojao " Kaka said but he was not in mood, kaka heaved went outside and Met Bondita in the way said " Bahu suno bohuth ziddi hai Humare Anirudh Rasam karnekiliye Mana kar raha hai usse mana kar rasam kiliye lekar aana tumhara Zimendari hai samjhi " and went away.

Bondita stood Flabergasted as the New task had been Given to her to Handle her Stuborn Husband, She herself struggling with the pain of loosing her dreams trying to Cope up with The changes that occured Drastically.

" Patibabu !!" she called him and he gets irritated stood staraight looked at her said " Kaha na aise naam se math pukaro Mujhe "

" Aise kaise Pati kaam naam lene se unki ayu kam hojathi hai " she said dramatically.

" Kya aise naam sunnkar 100 sal jeene se achcha Naam sunkar kam sal jeelunga " he too said stubborn.

" Tk main bhi aapki baath maan lethi hoon, ek sharth pe aap jeeth gaye naam kehakar bulaungi aage se "

" Ha Ha shotti Mansoor hai "

" Kaho konsa shart "

" Aaj neeche bashi biye ka rasam hai usme Jo khel hai usme mujhe Jeetlijiye aur aapki Bath manwalijiye ! " She shrudded her shoulders and surfed Almari for a new saree.

He too got cheerful for the Competition, smiled competetively said " Tk Haarne kiliye tayaar hojayiye aap "

" Haarange mere Dushman Kabhi nahi Haarthi Bondita ! "

Both got Ready and went Down Astonishing Trilochan who was Wondering How come his stubborn Nephew Got Convinced that to happily. Even His face had adorned a Beautiful smile which made trilochan Happy as he was in dilema whether he had taken Wrong decison But his smile was sufficient For kaka to be satisfied. He Mentally thanked his Bahu for Handling his Ziddhi Nephew Thought she was the Right Choice.
