After breakfast I went to explore the castle. It seemed so weird. This was the place I had lived for almost my entire life, and still just after being on the run for some time, the palace seemed entirely foreign to me. As I walked through the halls, I saw servants who were trying to not make eye-contact with him. They were scared.

"Of course, they are scared, you overthrew their royal family." thought Esteban.

After a while he retreated back to his room. He had been hoping seeing some familiar things might calm him down a bit. But, it didn't. All it did was bring back memories. Some were happy, and some were ones that he wished that he could completely forget about. But, he didn't want to relive the happy memories either, because they only remind him of one thing. That he can't get moments like that back. It just reminds him of how much he has lost.

Sighing, I went to go to the library, like I told my family I would. Were they even his family anymore, I didn't know. Maybe going to the library is what I need maybe that will help me clear my mind.

As I entered the library I remembered how I used to spend a lot of time here. Exploring different new worlds, with each book. This was one of mine and my Tia's favorite activity, before she died. Sadness passed over my body. My Tia and Tio were dead because of me.

I went down the rows and books, and stooped when I saw a specific book. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Me and Tia used to read many books together. This being one of them. In fact, this was one of our favorite books to read.

I picked the book up, and started reading. I got so lost in the book, I didn't even realise how much time has passed. He was brought back to the real world when he heard someone.

It was a maid, dressed in the palace uniform.

"Sire" she said

"Yes" I replied

"Sire, Princess Isabel asked me to tell you she is going to start working on the project, and she wanted to know if you will be joining her." said the maid.

The project, I completely lost track of time.

"Thank you for telling me. Tell the princess, I will be there soon. " I said.

"Of course sire." she replied and left.

I marked the page of my book, and took it with me. I went to my room, and put it on my desk. I looked over myself in the mirror. I took in my appearance, I looked as I always did. Still, it felt so different. Sighing, I left the room, and went to Isa's workshop. I opened the door and entered.
