Esteban's POV
Why won't these stupid memories leave me alone. For so long, I have tried to forget these memories, to get them out of my head, but no matter what I do they always come back to torture me.
I got out of my bed and put on a coat, maybe I walk would clear my mind. As I started walking through the hallways of the castles, all of my worst memories started coming back to me all over again.
My mind started spiraling. I started to run until I was out in the garden. I couldn't breath, my chest was on fire, and my heart was racing, I felt dizzy. I dropped to my knees after I couldn't run anymore. I thought I was going to die, when soft and gentle arms touched me and pulled me into a hug. "Breathe mijo, breathe" the woman said. I couldn't put together who she was, but she felt familiar.
She whispered soft and reassuring words in my ear. I held onto her as my lifeline, I didn't even realize when my breathing calmed down, and I went into a much needed restful sleep.

Luisa's POV
I couldn't sleep, so I went to the garden to walk around for a bit. what was happening with Esteban just kept crossing my mind. He didn't even say something to Fransisco. How are we supposed to help him, if he doesn't tell us what is wrong. As I was walking through the garden, I saw someone on his knees and struggling to breathe. I started going over to him, and soon realized it was Esteban. I rushed over to him and put my hands on his shoulders. It looked like he was having a panic attack. I pulled him into a hug, and started telling him to breathe. I kept whispering reassuring words in his ear. Soon he began to calm down, his breathing became normal, and he fell asleep. I just sat there with my oldest grandchild in my arms for a while. After some time, I realized it was still night and I would have to move him. I knew I couldn't move him by myself he was too big for that. So I carefully untangled myself form Esteban, so I won't wake him up. I didn't want to leave him alone for too long, but I needed to get Fransisco to help me move him. There were no guards around since it was night, and they were only stationed at the castle doors, Elena's room, and the treasury. I quickly went to my room, which luckily wasn't that far from the garden, and woke Fransisco up.
" Mi amor, it's 2 in the night, what's wrong." Fransisco said.
"It's Esteban, come with me." I replied, and took him with me to the garden. On the way I explained to him what had happened.
We reached the garden, and me and Fransisco carried Esteban to our room. There was no way we were going to leave him alone. We laid him down on the bed, and tucked him in. Then we also laid down with Esteban in the middle. None of us said a word, we both were still shocked by what had happened.
Esteban had never been the vulnerable kind, he was always strong and poised but seeing him like this scared me. Something was seriously wrong, and we had no idea what. All I know is my Esteban is hurting, and I am going to help him, and this time I am not letting it go until I have answers. With that thought in my mind I also drifted off to sleep.
