Pale world & Colorful eyes

We step out the door

To greet the chilled world

Silenced by the sleepiness of dawn.

Everything is

Pale.

The sky

The house

The ice covered ground.

Everything

But

Your eyes.

A bright

Intense green

Putting the leaves that capture sun rays to

Shame.

Losing myself in them,

I realize

I would rather live

In a colorless world

With your colorful eyes,

Than live the rest of my life

In a world full of color

Without them.
