Nara's POV
I closed my eyes shut, my hands still tightly gripped on the batch of keys, gun still pointed at my head
with seconds, all I could hear was the sound of the door knocked down and gunshots
I was ready to feel the pain, but nothing hit me.
I opened my eyes and found Mingyu laying all bloody on the floor infront of me
I couldn't stop staring at his body until I was pulled into an embrace
he tightened the grip on me, and at that moment, my legs gave up on me.. they became wobbly
I slid down on the floor, still in his embrace
I rested my head on his chest and he rested his head over my head.. seconds after, I started hearing the sounds of small sobs
I looked up and found him sobbing, I didn't even realize that I was sobbing too
I reached out to cup his face with my trembling hands "d-don't cry Minnie" I tried to comfort him
"I'm sorry-" he cried harder while wiping my tears, "I'm sorry I'm late, I'm sorry I didn't come earlier, I'm sorry I let you do this, I'm sorry I dragged you into this-"
I shushed him and embraced him instead rubbing his back for comfort
once I felt I can stand up again, I tried pulling him up with me
and we both exited the room and we found Hyunjin, Jongho, Sanha and Eric waiting outside
"did you kill him?" Sanha asked Bomin
"I wish I did" Bomin replied knowing he can't really kill him because of his job
Hyunjin sighed and went inside the room to handcuff the unconscious Mingyu on the floor and dragged him outside the building
After we both calmed down, I threw the batch of keys to Jongho that I risked my life for
"the keys Mingyu values. go ahead and free the girls" I told him
he gave me a small smile and we went separate ways
Bomin and I left the place and rode back home, I glanced at him and his puffy red eyes were very evident
I'm alright, I'm just a bit shook
we stopped infront of Golcha mansion and we got inside
Bomin avoided everyone's questions and went directly to his room
I followed shortly and found him laying on the bed with his head buried into the pillows
I sighed and got into the shower for a quick bath
I felt dirty and wanted nothing more than to scrub the skin off of my arms and face; everywhere that Mingyu touched
the hot water hit my back, soothing perfectly my aching back. it was painful, but not as painful as what Bomin's feeling
...
I got out of the shower, changed into a shirt and some sweatpants and blow dried my hair briefly before tying it into a bun
I went inside the room and saw Bomin sitting on the bed cross-legged staring at a distance
I sat beside him and broke him from his trance
as soon as he saw me beside him he hung his head low and dropped onto my lap
I stroked his head trying to comfort him "Minnie it's okay, I'm okay. it isn't your fault, it was my choice to do this and here I am, safe and sound"
he got off and shuffled to the drawer and grabbed a bag of wet wipes.
he sat beside me and turned to face me with a wet napkin in his hand.
"let's rub the places that asshole kissed" he said rubbing my cheeks over and over again "once he regains consciousness I'm going to deal with him."
"how'd you know he kissed me?"
"the whole place has camera installments. Eric hacked them before we went on the mission" he sighed rubbing my lips a bit too hard
I pushed his hand and placed the back of my palm on my lips to sooth the slight pain
"wipes taste horrible" I stuck my tongue out
"no this doesn't work I'm still outraged" he said throwing the napkin in the bin and slamming the wipes pack on the desk
I rolled my eyes and layed down on my back closing my eyes while listening to Bomin rambling on and on over how he's still mad
after a while I felt the bed dip down and it became a bit dull.. I opened my eyes and found Bomin
he hovered over me, both arms beside my head holding him up, his face looking down at me and the tips of his bangs tickling my forehead
"uhh watcha doin" I panicked
he totally ignored me and leaned in pressing soft kisses on my cheeks
he pulled away looking at me before mumbling... "this should cover up" and finally pressing his lips onto mine
we shared our first kiss
