Nara's POV
here I am, standing under the sun, picking apples from the tree
I realized that I needed those credits, and this was my only chance to guarantee that I'll pass my semester.
I was picking the clean ones with my right hand, and carried my precious Baygon with my left hand. I'm not gonna risk my life again.
"Minnie help me out" I pouted
"I've picked half of the basket.. you'd be faster if you weren't holding onto that Baygon spray as if your life depends on it." he said wiping his forehead with the back of his hand
"but it DOES depend on it." I said shaking my head to try to remove my bangs off my face
"if your life depends on a Baygon spray, then what's my role now hm?" he hummed wiping his hands with a tissue while making his way to my direction and stood behind me
he slid a hair tie I keep wearing as a bracelet off my wrist and gently grabbed my hair and tied it in a messy small ponytail."I've vowed to protect you with my life from danger... didn't expect danger to be bugs.." he shook his head

"Dae Nara and Choi Bomin, you both get 20 credits for picking 20 kilograms of apples" our teacher announced the credits for each team
I was satisfied with 20 credits. they're more than enough to help me succeed the whole semester
"I can't believe you wasted a whole jumbo Baygon spray while picking apples.." bomin shook his head
"they're terrifying okay?" I crossed my arms and he reached his hands to my cheeks and squished them
"whatever you say~" he said while puffing his cheeks "let's go have dinner with the others" he grabbed my hand and walked us to the campfire area

we sat down in our usual place, watching the sun set right infront of us all, without Sunwoo and Jee.
it was getting chilly as time passed by.
Eric got up and got us blankets from our rooms and passed them out to us to share
I grabbed the blanket from Eric and draped it around bomin and I, leaning into the warmth radiating from the cloth
and without knowing I found us cuddling while nibbling on the food infront of us
"ya jongho chaeji got arrested already right?" Eric suddenly realized and snapped his head towards Jongho who was shaking his head aggressively while tapping his mouth, signaling Eric to shut up
"chaeji? you found chaeji?? and ARRESTED HER?" Hyunjin who knew nothing from scratch suddenly threw the carrot he was eating right infront of him, "what's going on Jongho?" he seemed angry..
"chaeji.. we found her when Nara was on her mission" Jongho started fiddling with his fingers "she's- she's part of what seventeen are doing" he sighed
"what do you mean?" Hyunjin began to shake slightly, trying to control the tears that were threatening to fall any second
"she wasn't kidnapped nor taken hostage" Jongho looked at Hyunjin in the eye "...she was working with them willingly"
"she was a part of luring girls into the prostitution clubs. she was behind it all" Jongho confessed
after hearing the truth, Hyunjin blacked out.
that's the second time he blacks out because of, Seo Chaeji.
