wilders pov. 14.
The teachers were not happy, to say the least. They made a huge announcement that whoever was responsible or helped with it would be punished. Then they called for the person to come forth, in other words, me.
Of course, I stayed put and acted just as confused and surprised as everyone else. Honestly I really wanted to go up there and just tell them off for it, but I knew now wasn't the right time. Not yet.
And so I looked around and watched. No one else came forward and so they said something along the lines of, "if this happens again the king will be notified and we will do a sweep of the school. Anyone found to either have directly or indirectly helped or done this will be punished severely."
And with that they let us go back to the normal day.
The teachers had confiscated all the booklets I had made, except a few I kept so I could copy them to make more. I sat back and thought for a moment. I had to find a way for the students and teachers who were possible allies or queers to be able to see the meeting place and time, but not the homophobes or transphobes. Eventually, i came up with an idea.
Multiple spells layered on top of one another so that it would rule out qualifications like homophobia. It was a very hard spell to complete, but I eventually got it.
And then I used magic and just like last time I made tons and tons of copies of each booklet.
The entire time, one thing was one my mind.
He should be here with me.
But he wasnt, i had been stupid enough to not consider how scared he would be. And so, I worked alone in the dorm living room where we had laughed and cried in.
That night when dark came around, i placed the booklets all over, just like the other day. Occasionally I had a close call with people on patrol, and without my invisibility I would have 100% been caught. But I made it out free and snuck back to our room.
Out of habit I almost called out to ellio, and when I realised he wasnt there it just broke me down more.
The next day was utter chaos. They cancelled all classes and called in the kingsguard to search the grounds. I quickly hid my remaining booklets in layers upon layers of spells and even more on top of those. And when the guards came knocking, I let them in and stood aside.
They didn't find anything, and this only made them madder. Someone was going against the King himself. And whoever they were, they were getting away with it.
