I took off, hearing Zemo call me in, knowing that probably everyone in the building knows where I am but I didnt let it get to me. I kept running, taking any turn I saw with no individual in sight.
I heard Zemo on my trail as I tried to lose him a second time. He kept trying to get me to stop, talking to me in the process of our chase, eventually he gave up almost out of breath, as he started heaving for some air to come through.I turned my head around to see him gasping for air as he held onto his chest. I laughed in response, knowing I'd lose him eventually.
"I probably shouldve- stretched" he said in between breaths and when he looked back up, I was gone. I lost him again, too easy, at least so I thought.
I turned another corner, running right through, scanning every room as I passed by, until I came across an unusual room. I stopped in my tracks, taking a few steps back to examine the room.
There was a girl, lying atop of a metal bed, while a machine hovered above her. Looking over at her, I admired her features, noticing the way her brunette hair hanged down the side of her bedside, taking in her side profile the closer I got, noticing how well-defined her jawline is, how her lips rested in a soft, yet gorgeous way, the reflective light overlooking her, illuminating the fairness of her skin, a bit too pale. She looked drained but in the most alluring way.I was at arm's length with the girl before I even realized. I checked her pulse just in case, because lets be honest she looked dead. Although she looked stunning even then. When my two fingers came close enough to her skin, I could feel the heat radiating off of her, pressing my fingers onto her pulse feeling the beat of it. Its slow but shes alive, thats good. I couldnt help but feel the need to care for the girl, wanting to make sure she was okay. But then and only then when reality hit, knowing I couldn't stay, they were still looking for me.
Right as I came back to the understanding that I'm still on the search for a way out, I heard guards running up the hallway, as their steps became louder the closer they came. I quickly became aware of my surroundings, searching for a place to hide. There was no where, the room was just the girl and the machine, directly in the middle of the room.
"Shit!" I yelled in a whisper tone for only myself to hear.
"Well, well, well, would you looky here?" I turned around slowly, knowing I probably couldn't fight my way out of this one.
"What? I just wanted to make some friends." I say sarcastically, knowing it might be my only best way to not get a 'punishment' for running off. So, of course, I tried to play it off.
"We found her sir, West wing, in the lab with the maximoff twin" He called threw his earpiece, probably letting Zemo know.
"Look fellas I just wanted some air, and then I..might've got curious." I sighed.
"You know what they say, curiosity killed the cat" rumlow spit out, but I only spit back with my sarcasm attitude of course.
"Well I think I prefer myself as a dog, dogs are so much better than cats, dont you agree?" I smirked, knowing that I am probably annoying them.
"Enough of your games y/n, lets get you back before you cause anymore trouble." He says, grabbing my arm but I pulled away quickly.
"What trouble? The only trouble that I caused was giving y'all a little run for yalls money. Hey! I told that guy I was bored, he was just stupid enough to fall for that crap" I laughed at my response.
The guards were quiet and filled with pants, still trying to catch their breaths.I found amusement in their irritation I was causing them. A few minutes later, the room was still silent, waiting for orders on what to do with me, while I stood in the same place, still near the unconscious girl, or at least I thought she was.

No one's pov
~Y/n's attention was still on the guards as the mysterious girl that laid behind her, slowly coming to her senses, back into consciousness. The girl laid still, observing her surroundings, slowly adapting to the area. All she felt was the pain running throughout her entire body, and once she found herself in a not so empty room, she kept quiet.
Once the girl came to the understanding of the situation and room, she noticed a figure, almost like a shadow standing above her. Her eyes adjusted to the darkness around the room with only the hallway light passing through from in between the guards.
The figure became more and more visible, although they were standing in front of her, facing the men.
After her adjustments became even more clearer, their conversation became more understandable. The girl could feel y/n's heart beating at an irregular pace, slightly beginning to become more confused at the situation, y/n straightened her stance, giving a smart remark back to the men."What trouble? The only trouble that I caused was giving y'all a little run for yalls money. Hey! I told that guy I was bored, he was just stupid enough to fall for that crap" she laughed at her response, making the girl smile even if y/n didn't know of the conscious girl behind her, she tried not to make any noise.
The room fell silent and the girl could feel y/n backing up closer until her back hit the bedside. She wanted to reach out to her, just to maybe give her some comfort, but she wasnt able to move, her body was stiff, the only thing able to move was her eyes.
The girl's attention was brought back to the conversation once another figure appeared at the door way, which caused y/n to come even closer to the girl. The girl could feel y/n's nerves and heart racing. Y/n was scared, and the girl wanted nothing more than to do something but unfortunately there was nothing she could do about it.
