Chapter 2: A plan

DD dragged BF down many dark streets and alleyways for a good 20 minutes before they came up on a dark and abandoned looking shed. However, he did not go straight through the front door like you would think. He went around back and went through the back door. Once he opened it, it revealed a shiny looking elevator. DD slung Bf in their and walked in himself, shutting the door again.

"What is this place?" Bf asked as DD placed his hand onto some kind of screen that scanned his handprint. "Well, you can't be as famous as I was and not have a safe space just in case something happens. Don't even think about telling anyone about this place. Got it?!" Bf nodded frantically before the elevator started plummeting down. Bf became unsteady while DD didn't budge. Once the elevator hit the ground, Bf went falling backwards. "Ow."

"Alright kid, get up. We've got some talking to do." DD said, walking out. Bf jumped up and went chasing after him. As they walked around, Bf noticed it was like a little mini house. Their was a kitchen, Bathroom, living room, bedroom, and an office. DD led him into the office. Wasn't really filled that much except for a desk, a few chairs, some books and art supplies, and some other electrical crap. "Take a seat."

Bf did as told and grabbed one of the more sturdy looking seats while DD took the office chair across the desk. Reaching into his desk, DD grabbed something. It was a binder. He slid it across the table. It was labeled, "Monster/ failed experiment". He opened it and revealed some pictures of a humanoid looking figure except he had a red neck, lemon looking head, and everything else black.

"That is the 'Monster' I mentioned earlier. He's better known as 'Lemon Demon', but his head isn't actually a lemon so I prefer to stick with Monster." DD explained. Bf hummed and continued too look at the few pictures that were provided to him. He flipped the page too reveal a sheet of paper that seemed to have some information about him in it.

Subject #43: Dancing demon

Day 2:

Subject has official takin' a form. It's got a human-like body except it's all black. It's face is truly horrific though so for the time being, we've placed a mask on its face to shield our faces from the horror of whatever that is. Anyway, we don't have much information on it at the moment except for it's not wanting to eat any of the food it's given. It seems to love nibbing on our workers' fingers though. Luckily it doesn't have any teeth or else I fear they would've lost their fingers.

Day 9:

Subject doesn't seem to be taking the form the was originally planned. It also can't shrink in size either. No, it's got another power. Altering reality. It can make things seem bigger or smaller, or make items seem different. It's a powerful creature. If it were to go roug one day, there's no real way to stop it so we must be careful with it. You must also be careful around it. Two of our scientists have been killed and eaten by it so far, we're hoping we don't lose any others. It seems to only like the taste of humans. Sadly, we can't even force it to eat anything else. I'm looking into that issue at the moment, but so far there's nothing I can do.

Day 17:

Subject has escaped it's chamber and we have not been able to get it safely back to it's cage. The ones who've gotten near it have been brutally murdered and eaten. Bullets, poisonous gas, electrocution, and any form of physical damage have been proven to be ineffective. I truly believe I've created a monster

After Bf finished reading, he glanced at DD. "So, it's a cannibal?" "Yea, a failed experiment became loose in a science lab and ate everyone their. No survivors. He was supposed to be another prototype for a dancing demon before I had the one I do now, but like the passage said, they created a 'monster'." He explained. Their was blood on the note, so it was only bold to assume that the one who wrote that died.

"Well, why and how is he spreading this virus?" "As far as I know, he just wants me, but that obviously doesn't explain why he decided everyone else should suffer too." He responded again. "Maybe he just decided 'Why have one when I can have it all' and gave it to everyone. That's what I would've done anyway." Bf stated, continuing to look over the pictures and notes. Their was awkward silence before Bf spoke up again.

"One more question right now. How are we going to get rid of this virus and save everyone?" Bf asked, closing the binder and looking over to him. "I'm not sure... maybe we can gather up some survivors and.. I don't know, face off against Monster." He suggested. Bf nodded.

"Yea... I can do that. I've dealt with Whitty, Ruv, and Tricky before. I can face up against this... thing." DD scuffled and turned away. "All of them hate me-" "Yea but who doesn't" Bf responded. "... good point. Alright, I guess we can get Pico first considering he knows how to defend himself and is most likely not corrupted yet." "Sure, hey, now we have a bonding activity-" "Shut it!" DD yelled at him, causing him to quit. "This isn't 'bonding", this is surviving together for a little while. That's it." He ranted. Bf nodded, even though he was still going to consider it 'bonding'.

"So, where does he stay?" DD grabbed another file from his cabinet and opened it. "Alright, got it. Let's go." "Wait, do you have a paper with everyone's address on it?!" DD chuckled. "Yes, yes I do." He said walking out, Bf following close behind. "Isn't that illegal?" "No, not if it's me."
