Chapter 19: How it all ends

FINALE!!!!

"Happy Birthday Sweetheart!" Gf yelled, awaking her lovely boyfriend from his sleep. "Hm... Oh, morning babe. What are you doing up so early?" Bf asked, rubbing his eyes and finally woke up. "Silly, it's not that early. It's 12pm. I just don't think your sleep schedules went back to normal yet. I still can't believe you saved everyone." Gf chuckled and started playing with his hair. Bf smiled and curled himself up into a ball more. "Yea, it's only been two days, but it still feels weird not having the others in the same space as me at night. I'm used to telling all of them goodnight, now it's just you. No offence of course." Gf frowned and nodded.

None taken. I guess I get it in a way. Whenever I stay here, I'm used to telling my parents good night, so it's a little strange. But don't worry. Today's your birthday, let's make the most of it." Gf said, standing up. Bf groaned and covered his head with the blanket. "Come on. You have to meet my father in the town center in 2 hours. I at least wanna have some time with you." She whined, yanking the covers off of him. He squealed as the cool air hit his body. "F-f-fine, b-b-but give m-m-me the covers b-b-back." He shivered. "Oh come on, it's not even cold." She said one more time before walking out, taking the covers with her.

Gf went to the kitchen and made him 'breakfast' while Bf got the energy to get up and get dressed in his normal white t-shirt and blue jeans. After he did that, he walked into the kitchen and ate eggs and sausage with Gf. "So, how in hecks name did you get Senpai, Tabi, and Agoti to work with you?" Gf asked, biting some of her eggs. Bf chuckled. "They had too if they wanted to live basically. Otherwise, half of the team wouldn't have been their, maybe more." He explained. "Ah, that's right. It seemed like none of you hated each other still per-say. Is that true or were you all just too excited to be upset?"

"Eh, I'd say we all became friends. We just don't still talk, I guess. It's kind of upsetting how we all just stopped talking, you know?" Bf asked, staring at his plate. "Come on honey, it's only been 2 days. Give it time. Maybe someone will reach out and add everyone into a group chat or something." She explained, patting her boyfriend on his shoulder. "Yea, I guess. But Selever and Rasazy had to go back almost immediately so no one got to really say goodbye to them. I think she and Tabi were really close too." he explained, looking up at her. "Really? Interesting. Didn't you say Agoti was their too? What was his opinion on her being their, being Sel's sister and all?" "Well, I feel like he was iffy at first, but he grew to like her in a way."

"Hey, are you feeling ok? You've barely eaten anything." Gf asked, giving Bf a concerned look. "Yea, I just don't have as much appetite as I had before, I guess. Probably because I didn't really eat much for the month or however long everyone was gone." "Oh, makes sense. Well, since we still have about an hour and a half until you have to be their, what do you say we cuddle on the couch and-" "Yes! Can we please cuddle?" Bf interrupted. Gf chuckled and nodded. "Alright, but you're not going back to sleep." Bf giggled and dragged her over to the sofa.

After an hour and a half, Gf finally dragged him off of the couch. "Alright, you're ready, right?" "Yea, i'm ready. Why do we even have to go? Also, how did you even know we had to go in the first place?" Bf asked, grabbing his hat and slipping it over his hair. "Well... It is my father we're talking about. Why wouldn't I know?" She said, turning away from him and grabbing her heels. "I guess you're right. Also, why would he allow you to stay with me the past two days?" "Well, because I used my puppy dog eyes on him. Though it doesn't always work, it worked." She chuckled.

"Perks of having a caring father, I guess. Alright, I guess we should get going." Bf said, walking towards the door. "Yea, let's go!" She said, a rush of excitement rushing through her body. "Well, ok then. What is it with you and getting excited whenever we go anywhere?" He chuckled, opening the door for her and following her out. "Well, because I love going places. Especially with you." Bf sighed, a smile forming on his face and continued to the park.
