Chapter 16: Temporary Goodbyes

"Alright, is everyone ready?" Bf asked, standing by the door with a backpack on his back that he had found in Girlfriend's closet. Everyone nodded and gathered towards the front door. Rasazy gripped her teddy and scarf and his arms as tight as she could, trying to ease her nerves a bit. "Alright, let's go and end this chaos, once and for all." Pico said, opening the front door and holding it open for everyone. "Heh, sure. Let's go." Cas chuckled, letting out how scared she really was. Usually she would have a great comeback to shout at him, but instead she just shakily agreed with him and walked out. "Don't worry, we've got this." Bf said, smiling at everyone and walking out as well. Everyone else walked out as well. "Alright, I guess this is where we part." Bf sighed as the door shut behind the last person. "I guess so. I'll actually miss everyone here." Whitty chuckled, a tear running down his head. Hex nodded and hugged him. Those two weren't staying together, neither were Rasazy and Tabi (Remember, those two had some heart to heart time, so that was another "big deal")

"This is actually hard to do, and we're not even at the hard part of this mission yet." Kapi said, plopping down on the ground. Everyone was crying at this point, some more than others. "I know, but we're not only doing this for ourselves, it's for the ones that we have temporarily lost. It's not so hard once you get that in your mind." Rasazy signed out, cuddling close to her fathers arm (No, he still doesn't know she's his biological daughter, just adopted). The others nodded in agreement. "Yea, still doesn't mean it doesn't hurt." "Alright, we should really get this plan going before he finds out what he's doing." Bf mentioned, catching everyone's attention. "Yea probably. Hopefully everything goes as planned and we all see each other after this." Pico grumbled, holding his head further down.

"Alright, everyone, thank you for trusting me enough and joining the team and not just being lonesome. You all are a great help in restoring humanity and you have all been great friends. I hope that even after we save the world, we can all continue being friends and not go back to being enemies. I believe in all of you and wish all of you luck." Bf gave one final speech, giving everyone a hug, and then walking one way with Kapi since those two were paired up.

"Welp, their they go. I guess we should get going too. It was nice meeting all of you and I also hope to see you all soon. Come on guys." Sarv said, seeming ofily happy. Like, not excited, but not broken either. Probably because she wasn't with them long enough to have any true connections. "I'm with her, you coming Rasazy?" Ruv said, Rasazy detaching herself from her father. "Yea, give me a moment though." She said, running over to Tabi. She engulfed him in a quick hug and buried her face into his chest. He was startled, but hugged her back, tears rolling down his head. "Remember, you've got this. You'll get both Agoti and Ayano back." She whispered. He chuckled and nodded. "Yea, and you'll get Sel back. I bet you'll even find a way to free yourself from the void, just watch." She nodded and pulled away. "I'm cheering you on, don't forget that." She whispered one last time before returning to her parents. "Alright, I'm ready now. Bye everyone." She shouted as they walked to a small car near-by. Ruv could also hijack cars apparently.

"Why is this legitimately making me cry. I haven't cried this much since the shooting. I guess it's mine, Hex's and Cas' turn." Pico said, wiping his tears with his sleeve. "Yea... I'll miss ya Hex. I'm counting on you." Whitty mumbled and hugged Hex once more. "Yea, see ya you two squirts. I'll see you two devils again soon." Cassandra said, giving both Skid and Pump a high five. "Alright, see you again soon, demon lady. You too, robot man and Pico. We'll be fighting for you with the power of our spooky dance." Skid chuckled as he and Pump both started spooky dancing. "Heh, yea. I'll be doing the same. I promise after i'll get you two some Halloween candy.'' Pico bent down, opening his arms, letting the two kids hug him. And they did. They leapt into his arms. It was like they didn't even know how serious this was. "Alright, bye everyone. I'll see you in a few days." Hex said, following the other two out. "Yea, goodbye everyone."
