Chapter Sixteen

Auria's POV

I was watching a movie in Zaiden's room before he called informing me that he'll be late he must be working overtime or something but since he wasn't home all day I was really missing him and I wanted to be engulfed by his warm bed that obviously was nothing but his strong sent of gardenia.

A bit much if you ask me but I love the way he smells hence why I'm here in the first place. And since he has just warned me to go eat I decided to do that. I got off his bed and paused the movie.

I walk down stairs heading to the indoor cinema as I wanted to go get Pringles, Gen seems to have figured that I like them so she just had to make it a priority to get them as I spend most of my days down there watching movies and eating pringles.

Once I got there I picked a cheddar cheese Pringle and got a fruit juice box, immediately starting at my Pringles walking out of the room and into the hall. I took one out biting it as the cheesey sensation hits my taste buds and I let out a small moan of satisfaction.

I was about to head upstairs before the door bell rings so I go to open it instead "I'll get it!" I shout so Gen doesn't bother herself. Once I got there holding my snacks in my left hand I pull the door open to be met with a well dressed blonde girl she was taller than I was so I had to kinda look up at her, her blue eyes looked sad but firm as she looks back at me making me a bit insecure as I was only wearing a oversized tee and shorts and Zaiden's socks.

"Oh, hi Chloe" Gen says from behind me knocking me back to reality "hi, is Zaiden here?" she asks walking passed me and I stepped back a bit surprised "no, but would you like to wait for him?" Gen offered and the blonde nods so she leads her to the living room I guess as they were going in that direction.

Uhm okay I guess...I scratched my head walking back to Zaiden's room and getting comfortable once more in his bed and playing the movie which I was honestly not going to pay much attention to.

All was going on in my head was an attack of questions I wanted to know who she was and why was she asking after Zaiden. I mean call me nosey but that's not the case I'm just a curious cat sometimes.

After I've finished my Pringles and juice I tried focusing on the movie but soon enough it slowly got blurred out and everything became silent as I fell into a deep sleep.

I stir a bit hearing voices so I blink awake as I didn't know what was going on. I sat up in the bed crossing my legs and rubbing the sleep away from my eyes just as the door opens and in walk Zaiden with the same blonde girl from before trailing behind him.

"Please I j-just needed to talk to you" she says sounding as if she was or is crying. Zaiden turns around and came eye to eye with me and I gave him a confused look as he looks at me sadly and sighs.

That's weird... "will you at least hear me out?" she asks as if she hasn't recognized my presence. I didn't want to interfere with there matters so I got off the bed putting my trash in the bin in the corner of the room and gave him a small smile but he only turns to look at the other girl so I sigh walking pass both of them exiting the room without a word.

I got to my room and decide on going to have a bath so I could relax a bit. I went straight for the bathroom and got the bath running getting some bubble bath solution in there then getting my book from the night stand I got back to the bathroom and stripped from my clothes and got in.

Once I did that my body immediately felt soothed and I relaxed laying my head on the back of the tub to get as comfortable as possible. This feels good I'd have to admit as it's the next best thing to eating Pringles literally.
