Chapter 36
Deamon’s POV
“oh, now I have to make things right again”
I groaned, I went to my office when Evangeline fell asleep
“she may absolutely not know these kind of things. What should I do? I could call Brenda… she can make Evangeline forget everything that happened tonight, yeah, I’ll do that, but I have to inform the boys that they can’t tell anything to her” I dialed Brenda’s number
‘hello?’
Deamon, what do you want?
I could totally imagine how she was standing right now, her phone in her hand pressed to her ear, the other arm folded over her stomach, one foot forward and she was leaning slightly backwards.
‘why’d you think that I need something?’ I asked with a hint of a smile in my voice
Dame, I’ve known you for a long time, I know it when you need something, so just tell me and I can get the ingredients
‘you know Bren?’
what?
‘could you come over right away? You don’t need any ingredients for this.’ I
have to erase someone’s memory
‘yes’
from who?
‘you’ll see. And I just want you to erase a part of the night, nothing too drastic’
I’ll be right there
she was standing in front of me now
‘Dame’ she said with enthusiasm
‘Bren’ I said and I closed the distant, we hugged
‘long time no see’
‘well I didn’t need anything’ I confessed
‘but I hope that next time I call you we can just catch up.’
‘okay’ she rubbed her hands
‘who’s memory do I have to erase? Is it a prisoner of yours?’
‘no’
‘who is it?’
‘I want to tell you but I can’t at the moment, you’ll find out soon enough. Oh!’
‘what?’
‘could you please do something else for me? It’s really important for me to know.’ she nodded
‘okay, well… the person who you have to erase a part of the memory of’ she nodded
‘could you please find out what she or she is?’ I said not to ruin the surprise
‘yeah, that’s easy, just with a touch I know what he or she is. But. You have to give me a hint’ this time I nodded
‘is it a boy or a girl?’
‘girl’ ‘why can’t you compel her?’ I shrugged
‘come, I’ll bring you to her, she’s asleep so please be quiet’
‘I will’ we walked towards the elevator
‘so how’ve you been?’ I asked her
‘same old, same old… no wait, I have a boyfriend’
