Chapter 46
‘can’t breathe’ he said but I didn’t let go from him.
‘you’re killing me’ he said with a tiny voice after a full minute. I let go of him and Dopey gasped, he held his knees while catching his breath and then he looked up at me.
‘where were you?’ I asked him
‘I was upstairs, I didn’t want to meet the guys yet, I was scared’ he said while looking down and going with his feet from left to right like Dopey always did in the snow white movie.
‘scared of what?’ I asked him
‘scared of meeting the guys’
‘but didn’t you hear me shout for you?’ he shook his head
‘but who was that in the pool then?’ Jackson asked and I shrugged even thought I knew who it was
‘okay, you really don’t know who that was? You didn’t let someone in the house that I don’t know did you?’
‘no, I ran away when the others came inside’
‘but why? they aren’t scary’
“if you get to know them” I thought
‘hey!’ Samuel said
‘I wasn’t scary when you met me’
‘yes you were, didn’t you hear me slam the door when I saw you, that’s how creepy you were’ I said with a laugh
‘you didn’t even see me on my worst’
‘show me then’ I said and I looked up at him. He shook his head
‘you don’t want to see that yet, it is really scary’
‘I can handle it’ I said and he crossed his eyes, then he stretched his mouth and stuck his tongue out and he made a pig nose. I started laughing really hard
‘that isn’t scary, that’s funny’
‘hey! It is scary!’
‘no it’s not’ I held my hand on my stomach and I had fallen on the ground.
‘stop laughing, it is not funny’
‘yes it is’
‘no it isn’t!’ he defended himself and I was just laughing
‘just let the girl laugh’ Deamon said and he nodded, I sobered up immediately and they looked at me weird
‘what?’
‘why’d you stop laughing?’ Deamon asked me and I shrugged. I stood up and took Dopey by his hands
‘so I’ll introduce you to the gang’ I said and I started walking towards the glass door
“I’m going to have to change that, it’s not handy”
‘hey Deamon, when did you get here?’
‘I came with the guys’
‘oh yeah, I remember’ I said and I slapped my head and Deamon chuckled
‘so you made it really beautiful here’ he commented
‘thank you, but I am going to remove the pool and change the glass doors’
‘but why are you going to remove the pool?’ Samuel asked me with wide eyes and I looked at him with a “you know why” look
‘okay, but you can place a children’s pool here. That’s at least something’ he suggested and I nodded
