I could not wipe the smile off my face, I was just so happy, but I am not really sure why. I mean it is just a picture right?
“So what am I thinking now?” I asked Marcus.
“Jelly jelly jelly jelly jelly", ‘jelly jelly jelly jelly jelly” he answered with a grin on his face.
“And now?” I asked “If you can really read minds you would know that I am a boy”
“Are you a boy!?”
“No I am not! Why would you say that?” I asked offended that he would think that I am a boy *gna gna gna* ‘do I look like a boy to you?’ I went further with being offended “I know that we were supposed to let other people think that I am a boy but did you really believe that I am really a boy? Do you believe everything I think? You know that people lie, even in their minds. It is to steer mind reading people in the wrong way duhh. Well I guess my plan worked then, but why am I even talking right now then? I made my point. I should really stop talking right now.” I stopped awkwardly.
“Okayyyy… well that was embarrassing. I should really stop rattling on, or they should have stopped me.”
The boys were all laughing now while I felt like my face was as red a tomato right now. “Thank god you don’t see it if I blush”
“You really talk fast when you are embarrassed” Jacob said while still snickering.
“Well thanks” I said with sarcasm in my voice “Oh my god! You people have a bad influence on me! I never roll my eyes; I never have sarcasm in my voice! What did you do to me!?”
Oh my god! I never swear, roll my eyes and I am never sarcastic! What did they do to me? I do not like this. This isn’t me! Oh my god! Now I am shortening my sentences too! What did those people do to me! Ughh Marcus was even laughing harder right now, oh yeah. Mind reading… I should watch what I think.
“Okaayy.”They were still laughing hysterically,*ping* amazing idea in my head. I picked up my camera and *snap* another picture. “Woohoo! This is a great picture!” after two whole minutes of watching them laughing it was getting boring.
Well this is boring. What should I do now? Uhm let me see, I could go make some food, nah. I could… oh I know, I will make a digital photo album! But not here, I will make it in our lounge. Oh wait! School!
“GUYS!” I shouted to be heard over their laughing, “I cannot believe that they are still laughing about what is said. They are such boys.”
They stopped laughing and turned to me still snickering once in a while. “What’s up?” Adam asked.
“Well, uhm what about school?” I asked.
“Don’t worry Eve our dad covered us all. He said that our flight was delayed and then the limo didn’t show up or something like that.” Jaden explained.
“Okay… what day is it today?” Weird I don’t even know what day it is anymore, well that always happens to me when I just had vacation.
“It’s Wednesday” Jackson answered my question.
OH MY GOD!! I missed three days of school; I started pacing around in the room. “Oh no, what if I don’t make my exams?”
“Don’t worry. You just missed three days, not thirty.”
Okay. Oh which books do I have? What is my schedule? Do we have a uniform or can we just wear our own clothing? Oh wait… if we have a uniform then I need one for boys because I am going to pretend that I am a boy. Yes, but will Deamon think it is good that I pretend to be a boy or does he want me to be me? I suddenly heard laughing so I shot my head up and looked to Marcus, he was the one laughing.
“Why are you laughing?” I asked.
“You are thinking about school”
“Yeah well why should I not?” I replied.
“Well because I don’t know, no one ever thinks of school the way you do. Everybody hates it if they have to go to school and you are exited”
“Yeah. So I would like to know what I am wearing when I go to school, or which classes I have and I am still going as a boy right.” I asked, this time Jacob answered my question.
“You have to go to the principal if you want to know all this stuff” he said and I felt sick again but I tried not to show it, I was not about to let them see me weak again.
“Okay. When can I go to see him?” I tried not to think because now I know that Marcus can read minds so I am going to be really careful when I am around him.
“You can go now… do you want someone to come with you?” Jaden asked concerned.
“Yeah if you want to come you can come.” I said with a smile. I am really good I thought.
“Good with what?” Marcus asked.
“With nothing” I said a little too quickly, he raised an eyebrow but let it go.
“Shall we?” I asked with fake excitement, what should I call him? I thought.
“Call who what?” Marcus asked.
“Uh… well the principal, how should I call him?”
“You can call him whatever you feel comfortable with.” Jacob said.
