Chapter 30

Brooke's P.O.V

I know that there is a large window upstairs, it has a key beside it so if it is locked i will be able to undo it.

I padded up the horrible wooden stairs that led out of the basement and undone the door lock, it was pretty terrible because i knew where Harvey hid the key, i just have never been brave enough to try to escape until now.

I looked around upstairs, it was a very nice apartment, the floors were wooden and ther was a bookshelf, Harvey doesn't seem like the type of person to be reading, a room led off into what seemed like a bedroom but i'm not going in there i don't want to know what he keeps there, there was a large cushioned bar stool by a play station. Typical teenage boy things, but the thing is Harvey wasn't a typical teenage boy he was a psycopath.

I wlaked over to the window, we were obviously bottom floor as Harvey has a basement so i guess it is lucky for me because i don't have to jump and risk breaking one of my legs.

I picked up the key and unlocked the window, i opened it up and let the fresh air engulf me, it had been a while since i had seen the outside because i have been locked in a basement for two weeks.

I quickly jumped out the window and looked around me, I knew exactly where i was, me and Leo have walked past here together when we first came here to birmingham.

I ran as fast as i could back to mine and Leo's dorm room, trying to avoid as much human contact as possible because i look like a underfed gremlin and i'm pretty sure people would be scared of me if i tried to approach them.

I picked up the key from under the mat and walked into our dorm room to see Leo sitting by himself on the bed.

"Leo?" I said, merely a whisper. Leo turned his head to look at me and rubbed his eyes almost like he was checking if this is real or not.

"Brooke, oh my god where have you been?" Leo said hugging me tightly, placing his head in the crook of my neck and spinning me around.

"Please call the police, Harvey kidnapped me, Harvey Cantwell" Leo clenched is fists but he looked confused.

Why Harvey? We were friends..." Leo said picking up the phone.

"He said he was jealous of you, now please just report him to the police and get him locked away i don't want him to hurt anybody else the way he hurt me." I siad a tear slipping down my cheek.

"It's okay princess, you're safe now and you don't understand how happy i am to have you back here... I thought you had died" Leo kissed me softly and then went back to reporting what has happened.

"Hello police please, i would like to report a kidnapping, Brooke Jamison, yes, Harvey Cantwell he lives in apartment 2041 in orchard apartments, thank you, you too, goodbye" Leo said on the phone.

"Don't worry now baby, they are going to get him now, come on lets go get some food and clean clothes" Leo said taking my hand and running his thumb over my nimble fingers.

After eating, showering and changing back into my normal clothes Leo decided we should phone my mother to tell her that i was back, safe and sound.

I picked up my phone and scrolled through my contacts until i came across the correct one.

There was no answer so i decided to leave a message "Hi Mum, it's Brooke... I just wanted to let you know that i am safe now and we have reported it to the police, call me back when you get this message or whatever" I trailed off slightly then pressed the end call button. I can't believe my Mum didn't aswer the phone call, she couldn't have been that distraught about my kidnapping then could she?

Knock, knock knock. The door then opened to reveal Charlie and Poppy walking in. Their eyes lt up when they realsied i was back.

After lobng hugs and a massive explanation of what happened, we decided on watching some movies and relaxing because i just wanted to forget about what has happened too me. Obviously i will have to give the police a statement about what has happened to me but i'd rather forget about that until the time comes and it is completley nessary to remember it.

I cuddled into Leo's side, just being grateful that i'm still alive and have an amazing life to keep on living.

I slowly drifted off into sleep with my arms wrapped around Leo's waist, i couldn't have asked for anything better then what i have now.

A/N

Guys i hope you are liking these chapter, i do have a plan for this book and it will ned at around 50 chapters but don't worry because i will be doing a sequel because i think i have some ideas of what i want to happen.

If i don't write another book to carry on from this one then i will be definitley writing a new fanfiction to do with another member of the Alphadog family :)
