Don't Stand A Chance

Chapter 5

I checked the time on my phone 8:30pm july 8th it read. We showed up at the club 'nightmare' and walked inside. We just wore simple dresses to go clubbing in. Just like the assignment I had a few weeks ago drugs, alcohol and sweat fill my sense. We got our own drinks and walked up the stairs to the vip lounge. We found room 5 and knocked. Not long after someone opened the door and me, Davina and like 7 guards walked in. There were maybe 5-6 guards in here but we also had two more outside the door.
"Aurora i'm guessing"The man that we were meant to make a deal with said
"yes Devonte right"I said walking over to the balcony looking over the club
"yes"he said softly nodding his head
"do you have what i'm paying for"he asked sternly
"yes I do but cash first"I said still looking over the balcony at people dancing
"fine here"he trying to hand it to me I finally turned to him and looked at him. I took the envelope that held the cash and counted it. Yep $450 it's all here I gave it to Davina and nodded and she gave me the envelope for Devonte
"here"I said handing the envelope. He looked inside to make sure that it was all there and nodded softly in a response. He then took the big glass bottle of whiskey and poured a glass. He looked up at me while pouring as to offer me one
"no thank you we have our own"I said as I rose my glass and smiled
We clinked our glasses before throwing the whole contents back.
"good business"I said placing my glass on his high table and turning to leave
"yes very good business"he said before pouring himself another as we left, all our guards following behind us.

Me and Davina got in the back of this matte black G-wagon. We started to drive off I texting my dad saying that the drop went successfully but he needed us to do one more thing. He called me and I answered putting him on speaker so Davina could here
"yes dad and by the way your on speaker"I said through the phone
"ok good I need you two to do one more thing ok"my father said through the other end
"ok wh-"I started to say but got cut off by another car ramming straight into the side of our car
"AURORA WHAT HAPPENED"my father yelled through the phone. I tried to reach for it before a gun shot went off it was out guards in the cars behind and in front of us.
"DAVINA"I yelled over the gunshots trying to turn my head to look at her
"IM GOOD"she yelled back at me
"AURORA"my father continued to yell
I finally reached my phone that was on the floor
"dad some random car just crashed into us our guards are in a gun fight with them"I stated as I looked out the windows
"they must be trained or something cause they've got guns and a reinforced chassis like this was meant to happen"I said looking at the car that had crashed into Davinas side of the car
"are you guys alright"he said little more calmly
"yeah we're a little banged up but I think we're good right Davina"I said looking back at her and she just smiled
"yeah we're good"I said through the phone
"ok I need you to get out of there"my father said worried
"wait dad the shooting stoped"I said as I looked out the windows and saw all the other people dead and a few of our guards but we were fine
"dad we're safe our guards took care of it"I said before me and Davina got out the car. We looked around while our guards scoped the area and made calls to get new cars, as we were still about a 10 minute drive from the estate which would turn into a 20 minute walk in this uncomfortable outfit. I saw a survivor from behind the car point his gun right at me. I dropped my phone and immediately grabbed my knife on my inner left thigh and flung it hitting his hand causing the gun to fall. I then grabbed my gun on the putter side of my left thigh and shot him once in the shoulder and twice in his right leg. He fell to the floor and me and Davina walked over to him. When I dropped my phone it broke and Davinas broke in the crash so we had to get a guards phone to call my father back.
"dad it's me Aurora"I said holding the guards phone to my face
"what happened"he asked worries again
"I spotted a survivor about to shoot me so I had to drop my phone to take care of it"I said while pointing my gun at the mans head so he wouldn't move
"bring him back here and we'll find out whose behind this ok"My father said calmly
"i'm also sending cars your way they should be there by now"my father said once more
"yeah there here and the guys in the trunk"I said before hanging up the phone and getting in our new car.
