Chapter 46

Adam pov

"come one we've gotta go"I said to Davina who's been crying for the week since Aurora and Alexander died in the battle

"i'm coming"Davina responded while I sat at the end of the bed waiting for her

We obviously won the battle but we lost so so much and now i'm next in line for the Italian mafia.

Don't get me wrong I love it but it was never really my dream, it was Alexander's and living it makes me feel like shit.

"where do you think they're going to go"Davina asked walking out of the bathroom

"I don't know but we're going to be late so hurry"I said picking up the duffel bag and the keys to my car

We drove to the Italian docks where my brothers private yacht was.

"permission to come aboard"I yelled as a familiar chuckle filled my ears and I climbed on the boat helping Davina

Dropping the duffel bag I walked to my brother with wide arms and hugged him tightly.

The tears we cried were really Aurora and Alexander did die that day but not the way that the rest of the world thinks.

When our families saw what happened in the battle and as soon as we defeated everyone they were rushed to hospital with a 70% chance they would die.

Our families were furious about this and if they ever woke up they'd both be promised to others.

Me and Davina snuck into there room one night when the nurse said they were ok but we're unconscious.

We woke them told them everything then swapped bodies out and the nurses told our families they had an unpredictable heart fail and died peacefully and pain free.

"how are they"Aurora asked referring to her family

"there getting better loosing a child is not easy"I said and she looked at the floor

"but yous are doing what's good for yous so it's good"I said as I walked back over to the duffel bag of about 3 million, guns, ammo and fake IDs

"everything requested"I said handing it to Alexander

"thank you brother truly"Alexander said hugging me again

"you guys can still come"Aurora said holding onto Alexander's arm

"as much as we want to if we disappear there'll be a man hunt out for us and yous would never be safe or happy"I said holding onto Davina by the waist

"maybe in another life"Aurora said as a tear escaped her eye

"another life"Alexander said with a humble nod of his head

"another life"Me and Davina repeated before hugging them both and getting off the boat.

Seeing them leave in the opposite direction will forever be the most heartbreaking moment of my life, but at least there happy together and will be safe.

I will always love and remember my brother and the little lady that turned him from a cold hearted asshole, to someone worth loving and risking everything for.

*THREE YEARS LATER*

"dad"My daughter yelled running into my office

"hi baby where mom"I said as I picked her up and put her in my lap

"right here"Davina said walking in with a big smile she walked over to me and gave me a kiss as I held our daughter

"eww dada"Our daughter yelled as we laughed a little

The sound of my phone broke the laughter in my office.

I handed Davina our daughter and took my phone out of my pocket.

"who is it"Davina asked with a raised eyebrow

"I don't know it says no caller ID"I said looking at my phone

"answer it see who it is"Davina said sitting down in the couch

"why not"I shrugged my shoulders then picked it up on the last ring

"hello"I said putting my free hand in my pocket and leaning against the wall

"brother"I heard a husky deep voice come from the other end I shot off the wall and my foot slammed the floor and Davina looked at me with wide eyes

"Alexander"I said softly closing my door as Davina put our daughter on the couch and stood up running over to me putting her ear on the other side of the phone

"we've got a problem"Alexander said as me and Davina just looked at each other.
