Don't Stand A Chance

Chapter 13

I've been locked in this room for a week, the door only opens when people come in with food and drink then shuts and locks again. I'm not aloud out of this room well anymore. When I was first locked in here Alexander sent someone to come tell i'm allowed out of the room just not the estate. I made the mistake of knocking out the guards at the front door trying to escape, but got knocked out just as I was about to reach the street. When I woke I was back in the room now officially locked in. When someone brings me food they always have two guards with them and they have tranquillisers I learnt that the hard way.

I was sitting on my bed reading a bike off the shelf in my room when I heard a knock. It's only 4:30 why is dinner so early. That's wired they never knock but whatever.
"come in"I say with a big sigh at the end
I looked up from the book as the door opened and saw Alexander.
"get out"I said looking at him with a death glare
"are you forgetting who's house your in"He said as he walked in the room
"no because if I was in my house I wouldn't be locked in this fucking room"I said as I threw the book at him hitting his chest
"well that's rude"He said picking up the book I threw as I turned away from the door not facing him
"get up"I heard as he walked closer to me
"why should I"I said as he finally reached the front of my gaze again
"because we're going out tonight"He said placing the book on the nightstand
"and you need some clothes to look half presentable"He said looking at me from my head to my feet
"well maybe if I was in my own house with my own clothes-"I started before I was cut off
"enough Aurora just get up get dressed we're going shopping"He said before walking to the door again
"Be ready in ten"He yelled as he walked out the door closing it behind him.

I got ready fast as I opened the door surprised it was unlocked. I walked down the stairs to see Alexander texting on his phone then looking up at me. Looking at me again from head to feet before walking towards the door. I rushed out the door after him seeing a black car with the door open waiting for me. I climbed in closing the door as the engine started.
"took you long enough"Alexander said still looking at his phone. I just scoffed in a response as we drove out of the estate. We pulled up to one of my favourite stores and got out the car. We walked in as I walked around looking at all the nice dresses.
"something nice like for a club"He said putting his phone in his pocket walking with me
"nothing revealing"He said as I pulled dresses off of the racks. I had a total of about 5-6 dresses and we walked to the change rooms.

As we walked we in there was a worker of some sort eyeing down Alexander smiling bending down trying to show off what she thought she had. I rolled my eyes walking into the change room as Alexander sat out side waiting. He said I was to show him every dress. I changed into a short, backless, low top black spaghetti strap. I walked out as his eyes came up from his phone giving me the same up and down look.
"no"He said sternly as his eyes went back to his phone rolling my eyes again I walked back in to get changed into the next dress.

I walked out in a black dress that sparkled a little that stopped about mid thigh with a corset top.
"no"He said again as I walked back into the change room. I walked out in a rose gold sparkly dress it was quite loose and backless.
"maybe"He said looking back at his phone
"maybe really"I said throwing my hands up
"yes maybe now next"He said looking up from his phone
"what do you think this is a fashion show"I said with unimpressed look
"yes now next"He said as I walked back into the change room with a scoff. I tried on dress after dress all the same answers 'no' 'maybe'. Ugh this was pissing me off.
"i'm finished i'm getting the rose gold"I said walking straight past him to the cashier.

He got up and followed me as the cashier scanned the dress putting it in the bag quickly like I asked. He payed for it and we left back into the car going back to the estate. I got ready fast as we were a little late. Light makeup the dress black heels and a small handbag that hung off my shoulder.
