Chapter 14

I wasn't entirely truthful about the dress that Alexander bought. I actually got the black corset one which is why I asked the cashier to quickly scan it. I walked down the stairs again the sound of my heels hitting the stairs filling the room as Alexander looked up at me. I reached the bottom of the stairs and he looked me up and down twice.

"what are you wearing"He asked slight anger in his voice
"a dress just not the one I said I was going to get"I said with a smirk on my face and he sighed before walking away from me and to the car. I followed him getting in the car as it started driving to the club.
"so why are we going to this club"I asked as we swerved through traffic
"i'm making a business deal"He said hesitant
"then why do I need to be there"I asked raising an eyebrow
"because I said"He said flatly
"well I don't care what you say so how about I go back"I said frustrated
"no your coming"He said as anger laced his words
"why why do i ne-"I started before I was cut off
"because if this deal goes right then we might actually find out who sent those assassins to kill the both of us"He said looking at me blankly
"why didn't you just say that"I said looking away from him
"because I don't want you to fuck it up"He said as the car came to a stop and he got out.
I got out the other side walking around the back of the car before standing next to Alexander.
"your here to listen so you also know what's going on do not talk do not do anything"He said blankly
"because if these people know who you are then we're both fucked and we will never know"He said before we walked into the club.

We walked through crowds of people dancing and to the private rooms at the back, our guards following closely behind us. We reached these two black doors with what seemed like a guard at the front. He looked at Alexander then at me and opened the door. We walked through and I saw about 6 men each with a drink and a girl. Two men making out with said girl, three talking to them as they grinned on there laps and the other getting what looked like a lap dance.
"uhh Alexander"On said standing up pushing the girl off from his lap
"Antonio"Alexander said with a smile before shaking the persons hand
"come sit"He said gesturing to the couches on the opposite side of him and his men
"what can I do for you tonight"He said as he sat down in front of us and his men shooed away the girls
"come on Antonio"He said as a drink was placed in front of him
"The information your promised"He said as he lifted the drink off of the table swirling it
"uhh yes that"He said as he too lifted his drink
They continued to talk about what the information would cost and blah blah blah. Alexander was leaning forward his elbows on his knees as he held his drink in his hand. I finally got handed a drink and I sipped on it as the alcohol went straight down without a worry.

I could feel one of Antonio's men's eyes on me for awhile I looked at him for a split second and he smiled at me. I looked away pretending I didn't see it cause I didn't want to fuck this up, but these mans eyes just stayed glued to me. I moved uncontrollably in my seat and Alexander looked back at me wondering what I was doing. He then looked the man eyeing me down and looked back at Antonio.
"as you can tell the money won't be a problem nor will the drugs"Alexander said as he leant back in his chair next to me
"I didn't think it would be"Antonio said as he too sat back
The mans eyes still glued to me if this wasn't the situation it is I would've shit him between the eyes long time ago. I kept moving as Alexander kept looking at me then at the man. I was looking down at my drink moving again till I felt a hand snake behind my back and a hand on the side of my ass. I looked down at the arm then at Alexander who was just talking to Antonio. Then suddenly I heard a slight cough and saw the man was no longer eyeing me.

Antonio and Alexander stoped talking and Antonio ordered another drink. While no one was looking I elbowed Alexander in the ribs causing him to jolt a little and remove his hand.
"what was that"I whispered raising a brow
"you were uncomfortable and you were going to do something that would cost us both"He said which was true but I still rolled my eyes and stood up. I went to walk away before Alexander grabbed my wrist
"where are you going"He asked sternly
"To the bar i'm bored and this isn't strong enough"I said shaking my empty glass and ripping my hand away from him. I went to walk out till one of Alexander's guards stopped me and we both looked back at him. He gave the guard a nod and he stepped aside opening the door.
"follow her"Was the last thing I heard before the door shut and I walked over to the bar.
