First day of life
We search for light
The light of hope and love
We look and look
Hoping for familiar sights
As life goes on
We feel as though we'll never make it
That light seems to far away
That's when darkness hits
Trying to pull you in
We fight and beg
We try as hard as we can
And we may never come out again
