It was an early morning for the Kyodojo family. The four siblings were playing outside in the snow, the Father not to far away chopping wood for the fire place while the Mother was inside cooking breakfast. All was going just fine, nobody would have ever expected what would occur later on.
~Third person POV.~
"Oto-san!!! Look what Hina-chan and I made!!" Hino, the youngest of the Kyodojo family chirped out to their father. Korashi had just finished chopping all the wood they would need for a few days of warmth and walked over to see what his children had made, setting down the wood on the front step of their little home, right next to wear Hoshi, the youngest son was gathering snow silently into little piles. "Hoshi, are you not going to go play with your other siblings?" Korashi asked as he knelt down to Hoshi's height. "Oto-san, please come look at what me, Hino-chan and Ani-Kenji have made." A quiet voice asks, which belonged to the elder twin of Hino, Hina. Hoshi looks in the direction of his other siblings and back up at his father. He shows a small smile and politely shakes his head no as an answer to his fathers question. Korashi smiles back and pats his youngest sons head then proceeds to slowly walk over to the rest of his children. Suddenly a high pitched yet soft voiced yells from inside the house. "Children!! Come inside and eat!" Utsuki, the mother of the household called as she poked her head out to face the kids. Suddenly a shocked gasped leaves her mouth. " Korashi!! Back inside now. Your already to weak to be outside doing such hard labour as chopping wood in your state and you know it!" She demanded. The twins then suddenly zoom past their parents to get first dibs on their meal. Next inside walks the eldest sibling, Kenji as he goes in to make sure the two little girls don't eat anything until everybody else was at the table. Hoshi stays outside still sitting in the same spot as before looking between his mother and father until he finally gets up and walks inside.
Utsuki sighs and looks at her husband. " I just can't risk you getting in any worse state than you already are." She mumbles. Korashi let's out a small chuckle and brings her wife into a warm embrace. "I'll be fine, I'm not leaving any sooner than you are. I'll do anything to watch our children grow up. With you." He whispers. Utsuki smiles and pulls her husband inside.
The parents head to the small table where the rest of the house hold is sitting. Hino and Hina are sitting beside each other, crisscrossed while on the opposite side are Kenji and Hoshi, also sitting criscrossed. It makes the parents smile once more when they see their beloved children all sitting together. They also go take a seat on opposite ends at the heads of the table. Then in sync they put their hands together and slightly bow their heads. "Itadakimasu" the family says, some yelling it like Hino while some just whispering or muttering it. Then they dug in and began eating. Making small talk, about how it was getting colder each day, or what the sibling were going to do next time they go outside. Then a small "Oh!" Was heard. The children turn their heads to who made the sound. " That reminds me, Hoshi, can you please go back into the main part of the village to sell some more coal?"Utsuki asks, giving a blinding smile that nobody could deny. You see, Hoshi never liked going down to the main village, since it was always filled with people walking around and Hoshi didn't like crowded places. 'Don't look in the eyes, don't look in the eyes' Hoshi told himself. After a few minutes of silence at the table he finally succumbed. Hoshi let out a sigh and then proceeded to ask where the coal was. " Yay!! It's at the back near the door." His mother said happily. Hoshi grabbed the coal and walked outside to the front of the house.
"Ooh! Can we come too Ani-Hoshi?" Hino asks with an eager looking Hina beside her. He looked at the two and sighed once again. "I'm sorry, but I'll be carrying a lot and if you two get tired I won't be able to carry you back." Hoshi said looking down suddenly finding his feet much more interesting. He never liked telling his siblings no, especially the twins. Suddenly both girls were lifted up in somebody's arms. " That's okay!! Me and the twins can have a great time here building the whole family as snowmen. How does that sound!!" Kenji said as he smiled down at Hoshi then at the twins. Hino's face seemed to light up as she leaped out of Kenji's arms and ran to where they were previously playing before breakfast, Hina following behind calmingly smiling as well. Kenji sent a big smile to Hoshi then ran off in the direction of the two girls. Hoshi then said bye to his older brother as he went around the back of the house, not forgetting to say bye to his parents too. "Bye Okaa-san, Oto-san." Hoshi said quietly, though the parents had been standing at the door, so they could hear him clearly. "Bye dear, be safe" His mother said as his father nodded. Hoshi slightly smiled and then started off in the direction of the village.
