~Third person POV~
As Tanjiro and Hoshi made it back home it was coming up on dawn. When they were finally able to see the little home they'd lived in for almost two years they both let out a sigh of relief. "We made it... I- I can't believe we did it." Tanjiro said just above a whisper as Hoshi nodded. Suddenly a loud bang sounded out as the front door fell down. Out from behind the door in all her glory was Nezuko, awake and lively. She then turned to Tanjiro as his mouth dropped.
"N-nezuko!!!" Tanjiro yelled tears welling up in his eyes threatening to fall. "Nezuko your ok!!" Tanjiro got out of Hoshi's grip and ran towards Nezuko. He fell once but got back up and engulfed Nezuko into a huge hug. Then Urokodaki came out and looked at the scene. From behind his mask, he shed a tear. He then ran towards the siblings and gave them a huge hug. Hoshi just watched it all from the sidelines. He felt like he was missing something. Oh... that's right, Tanjiro had his sister, Hoshi had nobody left.
Tanjiro looked around from the hug not feeling Hoshi. He then saw Hoshi looking down with a hint of sadness standing not to far away. Tanjiro frowned slightly at this so he then grabbed Hoshi's hand gently and pulled him into the hug.
Hoshi was shocked. He wasn't used to physical contact, not even with his family. He didn't really know what to do so he just stood there with his hands down by his side's. Once they parted Hoshi then moved his warding mask from covering his face and put in on the side of his head like how Tanjiro's was, but Hoshi didn't see Tanjiro's now so he figured it got lost or broke during the fight with the hands demon. They all then went back into the house to eat and get Tanjiro's wounds treated.
~Fifteen days later~
All was calm. Urokodaki was carving another figure, Nezuko was sleeping peacefully and Tanjiro and Hoshi were talking on the mat inside. Suddenly the sound of bells ringing halted their conversation. Tanjiro excused himself and went outside to see where the bells were coming from. Hoshi being curious peeked out the front window to see as well.
Then a tall man wearing a mask in similar shape to Urokodaki and a big hat with bells hanging from it came into view. When the man arrived infront of Tanjiro he started speaking.
"I'm here on behalf of delivering the swords of Tanjiro Kamado and Hoshi Kyodojo." Hoshi peeked up at the sound of his name being spoken of and curiously went to the door and peeked out, seeing the man and Tanjiro. Tanjiro noticed Hoshi and gave him a soft smile to make him more comfortable. "Ah yes, I am Tanjiro, and this is Hoshi." Tanjiro spoke to the man and gestured to Hoshi who was still peeking out from the door frame. "Please come in." Tanjiro said politely. "I forged these swords with my own bare hands. The ore for the little ones had been soaked in water for almost 200 years making it this smooth and then dried in sun for the same amount. Stunning isn't it. Your ore has been cared deeply as well." The man spoke ignoring Tanjiro. "Uh- please come in and have some tea?" Tanjiro asked again only to be interrupted as the swords maker continued on the swords. Hoshi and Tanjiro sweatdropped. "Is- is he always like this?" Hoshi asked Urokodaki who had been listening from afar. "Yes, the man still refuses to listen to what anyone says. Isn't that right Haganezuka?" He asked looking out the door to the swords maker. Haganezuka nodded and then looked over at Tanjiro getting in his face startling the burgundy haired boy.
"Hey... you're a child of brightness aren't you?" He asked. Tanjiro sweat-dropped getting a full view of his mask. 'A clown mask!?' Tanjiro was also confused on what he meant. "Uh, no. My parents names were Tanjuro and Kie, sorry." Tanjiro said waving his hand dismissively.
"That's not what I meant..." Haganezuka said and deadpanned. Hoshi giggled knowing exactly what he meant and found it funny seeing Tanjiro clueless. Tanjiro looked at him confused and Hoshi immediately stopped laughing and continued to peek outside. "You know how your hair and eyes are a reddish colour?" The swordsman continued as he tapped Tanjiro's forehead. "When a family that works with fire has a child like you, it's considered lucky and calls for celebration. Chances are you might have a bright red sword. Isn't that right Urokodaki?" He finished as he poked Tanjiro's cheek and looked inside. Urokodaki nodded as Hoshi hummed and nodded in confirmation. Tanjiro looked at Hoshi and nodded. Then the swords maker turned his attention to Hoshi. Hoshi noticed this and jumped and hid behind Tanjiro, peeking out from behind him. Tanjiro lightly chuckled at this with a slight tint of pink on his cheeks. "And you, don't you think your a bit young to be a slayer?" Haganezuka asked Hoshi. "I- well I'm uh- the same- I'm just-" Hoshi stuttered not knowing what to say. "He's the same age as me, 15." Tanjiro answered for Hoshi. Hoshi giving him a thankful small smile. "What!? But your so small, you look like your 10!" The loud swords maker answered shocked. Hoshi showed an annoyed expression at that. He knew he was small but geese. Suddenly Haganezuka grabbed Hoshi's arm and pulled him up to him and got into his face like Tanjiro. "Your a child of purity! Your sword has to be white!!" He practically yelled. Hoshi flinched back at the sudden yelling and quickly ran back inside. Tanjiro sweat-dropped and nervously chuckled.

Tanjiro and Hoshi both sat on the floor of the small living room holding their new sheathed swords in their hands.
