Wane coughs and sputters. His body falls to the ground and there standing behind him is Trevor.
"How in the world did you manage to get through to him." His voice is quiet in my head as I sit there staring at Wane's body, still traumatised by the death of my closest friend. I could feel my blood boiling and my hands shaking with anger. He had just killed my best friend.
"I appealed to his humanity. Something you obviously don't have. I get the knife from the floor and take a swing at him. He dodges. There is wild in my eyes and he can tell. He runs off and heads down to the back room with the elevator. I turn to Cane. He can see the anger in my eyes. The hatred.
"Are you ok, Jacob." He puts his hand on my shoulder. I shrug it off.
"I'm fine. Let's go kill this guy." I walk off. I hear Cane calling to me in the background but I don't turn back. I keep walking towards the back room. He follows me onto the elevator. We get down there and find Trevor with all the other Teachers.
"You are a dead man." I slowly walk towards them. Trevor starts to run further down the tunnel system. All the other Teachers run towards me and Cane. We push them out of the way and keep running toward Trevor. The teachers are hot on our tail but we managed to get a door between us. Cane and I turned around and shut it. There was a lock so I jammed one of my keys in and broke it. Now it was just me, Cane and Trevor.
