(Danny just needs a nice "Break" chapter... also that video is pretty nice... it also indirectly helped me discover the woman at the beginning of part 1 isn't actually DIO's mom, either that or the Wiki is wrong which idk which I believe... guess its up to belief?)

[a few Days prior]

the day after he revealed the true nature of his power he's visiting his mother in the refugee camp.

"Really sorry about Zenkei honey.... she seemed like a nice girl." Joan Joestar says handing Danny a cup of tea.

"Yeah...." Danny mutters. "I'd kind of prefer to change the subject..."

"Oh of course." his mother responds sitting down. "What do you want to talk about?"

Taking one look at the framed picture of the manor Danny knows what he wants to ask

"I want you to tell me the truth of this "Joestar Fortune" Taro claims to exist..."

Joan takes a deep breath before placing her tea down.

"I see..." she sighs.

"I guess it's about time you finally know...."

Danny sits up in anticipation

Joan Joestar takes a deep breath before spitting it out

"You're eligible to inherit at least 25 million Dollars when your grandparents pass away..."

Danny almost coughs up his lunch in surprise

"H-H-HOW?!" he exclaims

"As the eldest grandchild and son due to some sexist 300 year old tradition you're going to inherit the 2nd most besides your uncle."

"You think Zenkei would take you back if she knew you were loaded?" Waurdo asks

"Shut the fuck up..." Danny mentally tells him off

"Why didn't you tell me?" Danny asks his mother.

Joan grabs her tea again and answers

"I didn't want you to end up a spoiled rich kid like I did so I hid it from you... I wanted you to develop an appreciation for hard work and not just expect to be able to buy all your problems away..."

she sighs continuing.

"as much as I now have a distaste for your whore father he was the one who opened my eyes to the value of being self-made... I'm not saying I've refused help, Joseph convinced me to allow mother and father to support us when we hit some bumps when you were 6..."

"Wait but I thought you were cut off or something." Danny inquires.

"I am, they didn't approve of me dating your father so when we got married they cut me off and wrote me out of their will, which I didn't really care about since your father and I were planning to move cities and get a fresh start."

"But if you're cut off then why am I still in the will?"

"They may disapprove of who your father is but you are still their grandson and they do love you... maybe after all this is over you could finally meet them, Besides the pompous rich person behaviour they're fairly good people..."
