"Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak."

-Sun Tzu

One year later:

"We have to do something for the summer," Steph said as she settled down into Randy's lap. Randy ended the call he was on with the sitter and smiled.

"The boys are all settled in," I'm so glad they found each other and they both needed a healthy change.

"I miss them already."

"Me too."

"My parents have a beach house that they rent out, but we can probably take it over," Josh stated and laced our fingers together.

"That sounds like fun," I said and Josh stood up to call the rest of our group.

"Alright everyone in the group is down for the break."

"Who did you invite?"

"Blake, Damian, Quinn, Carter, Gabby, and Taylor."

"Awesome."

"Finally Quinn and I can share a drink," Steph stated. Josh smiled and we all started to pack for the weekend vacation.

"This house is beautiful," Steph and Gabby said at the same time.

"Thanks," Josh set our bags down and Taylor started to cut straws.

"Let's draw straws for rooms," we all stood around the kitchen island and watched Taylor.

"Josh you pick first since this is your place," Josh reached into the cup and pulled out a medium-sized straw.

"The master bedroom," I smiled, and Josh high fives me.

"Quinn," she pulled out the shortest straw and looked at Carter.

"Guest bedroom with the beach balcony," Carter smiled and wrapped his arm around Quinn.

"Stephy," she pulled out the longest straw and looked at the house map.

"Loft," I could see Randy smirking and I rolled my eyes. I know they want to be alone and I'm happy it is on the other side of the house.

"Gabs, baby, pull out the last straw," Gabby reached forward and pulled out a slightly shorter straw than ours, "Second guest bedroom," we all dragged our bags into each of our rooms and decided to meet back in two hours for dinner. Josh and I placed our clothes into the shared dresser and I hung up his nicer shirts and a couple of my cocktail dresses. I pulled out a pair of white shorts and a rose gold tank top. Josh laid back into our bed and placed his arms behind his head.

"You look tired," he patted the spot next to him and I curled up into his side. I watched his eyes close and I yawned realizing I was just as tired and let his warmth lull me to sleep. Loud knocking startled me and I sat up quickly. I walked to the door and opened it quickly.

"We are leaving in an hour," Gabby smiled at me and ruffled my hair.

"Quit it," I flattened my hair and shut the door.

"Josh," I rubbed his shoulder and he didn't budge, "Babe," he opened his eyes and pulled me into his body, "We have to go to dinner," he groaned and sat up. I stood up and pulled him with me into the bathroom.

"Addy, if we shower together we won't leave in an hour," I shrugged and lifted my shirt over my head, "I warned you," he took his clothes off and pulled me into the shower with him. I wrapped a towel around my body thirty minutes later and started brushing my teeth. Josh wrapped a white towel around his waist and stood next to me. I started applying my makeup and he shaved his face. He lifted his arm closest to me and smirked. He leaned in closer to me and bumped me. Of course, my eyeliner streaked across my face and I opened my mouth in shock.
