"If I had a flower for every time I thought of you, I could walk through my garden forever."
-Alfred Tennyson
I yawned and rubbed my eyes slowly. I finished folding the last of my clothes and closed the zippers on my suitcase.
"I put your toiletry bag in my suitcase," Josh walked into the bedroom and I nodded.
"Why don't you head down and get some coffee," he offered and I nodded slowly. I stood up and yawned again. I feel like a zombie. I laughed to myself and walked downstairs.
"Morning," Blake said cheerfully.
"Coffee," I mumbled back.
"Rough night or rough night?" I rolled my eyes at his sexual innuendo and grabbed a cup of coffee.
"I couldn't sleep and not for that reason. Everything that happened last night with Xan has me freaked out."
"I know. I wish I could make it go away."
"I just want that night to have never happened."
"But, then you wouldn't have Josh."
"I know and that's why I'm not messed up. He held me all of last night while I cried. I felt safe, Blake."
"I'm so glad. I'm glad you have him," I smiled and he sat across from me.
"Me too. We've been through so much in a short while."
"What are you guys going to do for your year?"
"I have no idea. It's still four months away. Ask me again in November."
"Damian has a beach house in Hawaii. You guys should use it," I held my mug and looked down at the steaming coffee.
"That would be great. I'll get back to you guys on that," we heard footsteps and I looked at the doorway. Ollie smiled and walked over to the coffee pot.
"Where did you go last night?" Blake asked and she flushed.
"Um. Well...Ian and I left early," she stuttered out and Blake laughed loudly.
"How many years did you guys do long distance?" Ollie sighed.
"We were apart for a year. We finally found a house here," I smiled and she sat next to me.
"That's so great! Where are you guys moving to?"
"About twenty minutes from the old place. After we get the house and move in, it's wedding planning time."
"Yay! Do you have colors?"
"Coral pink and navy blue," she took a long sip of tea.
"I love that combination."
"Me too. Ian hates it, but he will never say so. He just wants me to be happy."
"Yes I do," Ollie turned quickly and smiled.
"It's your wedding too."
"I know and I'll be there at the end of the altar. Everything else doesn't really matter to me."
"I know," she kissed him softly and he smiled.
"Is there coffee left?" I slid my cup across the table and smiled at Ian.
"Yes. Cream and sugar please," he rolled his eyes and took my cup.
"Fine," I smiled and Josh walked into the kitchen.
"Morning," he kissed me quickly, before walking into the kitchen.
"Morning. I'll have some coffee too."
"You two are horrible," Ian stated and we both laughed. Josh handed me my coffee and sat down. He placed his arm around the back of my chair and leaned in closer to me.
"What do you guys want to do for our last day?" Blake asked.
"There are some shops in the town that Steph, Addy, and I wanted to check out," Ollie smiled at the eye rolls from the guys.
"We'll go hiking," Ian stated and Blake stood up.
"You guys have fun with that. I saw a really cute pair of shoes in one of the stores," I laughed and Steph grabbed the empty cups quickly.
"Let's go then," she said with excitement and we all moved to get ready for the day. I pulled on Josh's sweatshirt and pulled on my vans, before sitting on the couch by the door.
"Text me if you need anything, okay?" Josh kissed my forehead softly.
"I will, but I'll be okay today. I just want to shop and use retail therapy today."
"Okay," Black and Damien sat on the couch next to us and I smiled.
"Are you going to try on the black cocktail dress that you've been eyeing?"
"Maybe, but I don't know yet. I may hate it when it's on me."
"Alright! I'm so ready for this hike," Randy announced and Ian handed Josh a backpack.
"We'll see you guys for dinner," Ian stated and we all headed out for the day.
I sipped on my glass of champagne and Ollie walked out of the dressing room.
"Wow! That dress looks amazing on you," Blake stated and I nodded in agreement.
"Do you feel like a bride?" Steph asked and Ollie looked down quickly.
"Yes," she bursted into tears and we pulled her into a hug.
"I think this is the one then," Ollie smiled at me and agreed.
"I'm going to see if they can ship it to the apartment."
"You guys should try on bridesmaid dresses."
"You mean?" she nodded and Steph and I hugged her tightly.
"You too Blake. If you want to try on a dress or do a tux. I want you guys to be in my wedding. I only have two other friends and I feel so connected to you guys," she teared up and we all joined her quickly. I pulled on the navy blue, halter neck dress and walked out quickly.
"Should I try on the blush pink version?" Ollie looked up and started cheering.
"No way! You look so great!"
"Help! My zipper is stuck!" Steph walked out and turned her back to me.
"I think Steph should stick with the pink."
"I love these dresses, Ollie."
"I'm so glad. I'll get them sent to my apartment. Blake, It's your turn."
"You know I want to wear the pink suit."
"Yes!" Ollie shrieked with excitement and he walked into the dressing room. After we finished trying everything on, we walked to the grill and pub next door for lunch.
"Thank you guys so much for today?" I started and they hugged me tightly.
"Anything to keep that smile on your face," Blake stated and I smiled.
"This trip has been so crazy," Ollie stated and Steph nodded in agreement.
"Now, let's get some drinks and talk about wedding details. I know there is a lingerie store near here."
"Oh my god, Steph!" Ollie blushed, before laughing and soon, our whole table was in an uproar.
